Let's see the Real Greenlee...FLOP.......Angie and Jesse......ratings wise..Flop...did go up a bit and viewers tuned back out......soon to be Dixie/Cady McClain...let me guess FLOP.....Jake Martin....played by well....no comment ....it will flop....ummm.....now Greg ..Laurence Lau...I liked him on OLTL...but this is pure ratings ploy. Will it work? Look at previous history....Real Greenlee and Angie/Jesse. If A&J cant bring in the ratings...I doubt Greg will. JMO of course. :)

Ron do you even watch AMC? If not, why get invested into this stuff?

I think this is good for the show.

IMO I think Agnes had something to do with this. B&E/JHC/Frons has not worked with him. SO i hope Agnes had a word!

Ok, let me amend. I will tune in if Enid is on.

Natalie Ross who played Enid must be in her late 80's or early 90's now, or maybe even deceased.

I want an alive Dixie next.

I agree. Dixie alvie with a multi-year contract and a clasue in the contract that Dixie shall NEVER be killed off again.

Who was/is Enid?

Enid Nelson is Greg's mother played by the amazing Natalie Ross in the mid 80's and again in 1995-96. According to Marian, Enid and Greg were estranged. Greg works in International Business, and he never calls home. Frankly for all Enid did, she earned it.

She and Opal were also at odds in the mid-90s because she led the brigade to get Michael Delaney fired at PVHS for being gay. Or course Opal opened her home to Kevin Sheffield, so she did not see anything wrong with Michael being gay as it did not affect his job as an instructor.

Enid was also of course a good friend of Phoebe English.

Now on to my views of Greg Nelson's return. I think it awesome he is coming home, even for a brief visit. I don't think Greg could really fit on the canvas long term anyways. He is very little ties to PV. He and Greg were only okay friends. He and Opal never got along. The only real friend he has left is Myrtle, who was the mother that Enid never was. I hope they remember that, and I hope Eileen is in good enough health to show up onscreen with Larry. Maybe, Greg can get his old room at the Boarding House back, though he should have the rights to live in Cortlandt Manor, moreso than Richie (what a terrible plot point there).

On to ideas of Liza coming home, I am all for it. I was all for her recurring in 2005. Those scenes in New Orleans were some of Marcy's jusiest scenes in years. I hate how she lost so much of her prominence on show in basically one year (2003-2004). I think she and Ambyr could have an amazing time working together. But Liza is a role that cannot be recast. I would not condone that one bit.
