I believe it was Ryan who busted you for commenting on OLTL when you did not watch it.

I didn't watch AMC during the Greg& Jenny heydey, but I knew who they were. I am excited for AMC. It's my favorite soap right now and going back into the history can only be a good thing.

Nice return! I only remember him on One Life To Live as Sam though, but I do like they're bringing back old favorites =)

Greg is coming home!

I hope they get Alfred Vanderpoole for a few episodes too. The two wee great together.

I'm SOOOOOO excited about this. I used to LOVE Greg back in the day. I hope they give him something worthwhile to play and he stays around Pine Valley for a while! WOO HOO!!! Man, I wish we could get Liza back!

I loved Greg, the only downside to this is there is no way Greg should ever have a romantic storyline unless they bring Jenny back to life. This would be like Romeo&Juliet II: Romeo Moves On.

Greg may just be a classic character better left in non-existence so the story of Greg and Jenny (to my mind the best couple I ever saw on a soap along with Palmer and Daisy) can stay unblemished by * with notations of who else Greg loved.

Enid was on in 96/97 and was very peripherally involved in the Kinder/Marian storyline. I think that's the last time we saw her. I loved Natalie Ross. I remember one hysterical scene years ago when Enid, trying to get Jenny out of Greg's life, went to Phoebe for advice on, essentially, how to meddle in your children's lives. When Greg and Jenny were popular, there was talk of bringing on Greg's 2 sisters, one named Diana, the other Susan or Janet. They were talked about a lot, but nothing ever materialized there.

I'm all for Jenny's resurrection (hey, if they could do it for Jesse, why not Jenny?) However, I'm not convinced that Greg can't be made interesting without her! I remember when Jenny died and Greg actually remained active on the show for a few more years after her death. They even came up with this creepy storyline of a mysterious woman pretending to be Jenny back-from-the-dead. This woman would go to Jenny's grave periodically to place roses on it. It turns out that this woman was a con-artist hired by Olga Svenson (a friend/business associate of Erica's I believe) to dupe Greg into believing his true love was still amongst the living (can't remember why Olga did this to Greg either)! Anyway, I think Greg can be a long-term contract player once again if they make him interesting. If Jenny can't come back then bring Dixie back from the dead to be with Tad, let feisty Krystal get together with Greg, and bring back Liza for Adam (or just let Adam be ALL ALONE like he deserves to be).

I'm thrilled that Greg is coming back! Someone behind the scenes is really working to salvage this show and hopefully this will lead to a new, good headwriter down the line.

I think Greg could be a great permanent addition to the cast. It's been over 20 years since Jenny died and I would hope he listened to her deathbed plea and moved on with his life. I would love to see a triangle between Greg, Liza & Adam but only if Marcy Walker returned. I think it would be compelling to see Liza dealing with her long-time crush while fighting her feelings for her ex-husband. Greg would also be conflicted if he fell for Liza despite what she put him and Jenny through since she had grown as a human before she left Pine Valley.

I don't want to see Jenny come back from the dead. One, it would be a slap in the face to long time fans. (But hey, haven't we been triple slapped Erica Kane-style many times?) Secondly, that would mean that Tad, Jesse, and Jenny all came back from the dead! That's just too weird for me.

Dixie, on the other hand, I can accept. I know, I'm a hypocrite. But Dixie's death was just so idiotic and didn't make sense at all and had no point.

I don't know. I mean Angie had a very serious relationship with Cliff Warner (which I actually liked btw even though I'm a J&A and a Cliff and Nina fan) but that never really diminished how she felt for Jessie. It could be done with respect to the past instead of tearing it apart.

Yup. I remember that.

The Jenny doppleganger was named Sheila.

Olga was Erica's modeling agent (Jenny's, too).

Its like its the 80's all over again. I am desperate for a Liza return now, please Marcy, give acting another chance!! Maybe then Adam can move on from this Krystal phase and go with someone who is his equal. God I loved Adam/Liza!
