The scenes with MW and RW when Eden was in the wheelchair were incredible. The sisterly bond was never stronger than in those scenes.

Sorry, amybrickwallace, but I'd rather not see Eden/Marcy in a wheelchair.  You have to excuse me.  Eden was so upset that she was paralyzed and couldn't walk.  She had partially regained her ability to walk in Utah only to lose the use of her legs all over again shortly after returning to Santa Barbara.  It doesn't help matters that violence on Elena Nikolas's part led to Eden's paralysis.

Do yourself a favor - block that poster. (I know who it is based on your response. I did ages ago. Makes things better.)

Wow! These scenes are perfect. Marcy and Robin are great. When I see this, I remember why I hate so much the relationship between Eden and Kelly’s version made by Carrington Garland.

See the difference

It looks like a different show written by other writes.

I have not anything against Carrington but her version of Kelly was just other character not Kelly. The same with Terry Lester as Mason. Nothing to do with the original role.

@NomadaYou have to excuse me.  It has too often pained me to see Eden Capwell in a wheelchair!  :(

You know you do have the option of not watching those episodes if you can't emotionally handle watching a fictional character in a wheel chair.

Well, Soaplovers, Eden's paralysis went on for so long.  She partially regained her ability to walk in Utah only to lose the use of her legs all over again shortly after returning to Santa Barbara.  To make things more upsetting, Eden's paralysis was the result of violence on Elena Nikolas's part, plus Cain Garver did terrible things to Eden in Utah.

ANYWAY, I felt that those scenes between the sisters were amongst the best that MW and RW ever had together. I loved how Kelly challenged Eden to fight for what she wanted, and how much she and the rest of the family loved Eden. Very well-acted and directed.

I doubt Julianne Moore's example would change Wright's POV. Maybe it had to do with the show extending her contract when she took a hiatus to film The Princess Bride or maybe she just connects it to her failed relationship with Dane Witherspoon.

But whatever the reason, her attitude seems pretty ingrained by now. It is what it is.
