Yeah he stayed with Danny's friend not Danny. And he only stayed there because it was either that or jail. And talking to someone over the holidays (if he did) is not exactly mending fences with them. I haven't heard or seen Daniel and Danny sit down and deal with the whole paternity issue or the custody issue and Daniel forgiving him for it.

He stayed with Danny's friend cause Danny stayed in Europe in case they came to him.

Either way Danny & Daniel HAVE mended fences.

Daniel has no right to be mad at Danny.

If he wants to be furious with anyone about his paternity or the custody issues it's PHYLLIS he needs to be mad at.

Just cause the writers want to rewrite their relationship to prop Phyllis doesn't mean it didn't happen.

You also must remember that Phyllis lied to Daniel when explaining why she lost custody. She made it seem like evil Christine and Danny stole him from his loving mother. She was very convincing and Danny (and Christine) never said a negative word against the nutter. THIS is why Daniel fell out with Danny and Christine, purely because of Phyllis' continued lies, half-truths and manipulations.

Getting back to the show, I thought Wednesday's episode was flawless. It was definitely a good first post-strike episode. I can't get over how awesome that cliffhanger was. I didn't expect that considering how lighthearted the previous scenes with Allistair were. The Jabot drama continues to intrigue me. The Gloria/Jill scenes were HILARIOUS! Does that nut really think John would rather her run Jabot?! Sorry. Ask Ghost!John and he'll tell you that Jill is the one and only CEO (since Jack isn't an option). How dare that fool. I hope Jill drop kicks Gloria after she's finished with Nikki.

Maria Arena Bell seems to be getting Jill more so than Latham and Jack Smith did. Jill is feisty again, first her squabbles with Nikki, then her snaky line to Gloria, and then the look on her face when Gloria told her she wanted to run Jabot. Jill looked like she wanted to strangle Gloria. LOL!

Daniel knows exacty what Phyllis did. He knows that Phyllis tried to pass him off as Danny's son because they told him. Yet he still chose to move in with Phyllis.

Transcript of Danniel finding out the truth and still wanting nothing to do with Danny because kept the secret about not being his biological father.

Danny tells Daniel the rest of the story.

Daniel knows the truth and he still didn't want to have anything to do with this father and they never made up. I don't see how the current writers are rewriting history.

      • I think early RH had arguably some of the most complex characters on daytime; people who were truly neither all saints nor all sinners.
      • I remember reading posts a while back theorizing that Hayley and June could be sisters.  I compared their voices in today's episode, and I believe it's possible.  Maybe the photo is Hayley and June as children or teens?
      • I would be lying if I said I cared about the direction of this Mama June storyline. Doesn't make me care that much for Jacob or Naomi...although I actually want to know these characters better, but just not in this capacity.  Honestly, it would be best if she's somehow connected to Hayley, because that character is seriously in a corner. Even after all they did, Eva and Leslie have more reason to interact with the rest of the cast.
      • -- Great scenes with Andre and Nicole. -- I hope Dani loses Andre because she wants to keep him hidden. He deserves better, and I have no idea why she's acting that way. -- The hair stuff with Eva at the end was fun, but does she carry hair pieces and extensions with her, too? -- Samantha looks 30 lately. I can't unsee it now that I know. -- I am glad we already see Eva and Samantha getting along. I didn't want weeks of Samantha shading her. -- Clifton Davis was pretending he can't sing, and that didn't work. It looked like we were watching someone pretending he can't hit a note. -- They need to step up this Anita storyline. Watching her and Vernon praise each other every day is getting tiresome. -- Hayley clearing Bill's desk to have sex was cringe. He enjoyed it, but it won't be long before he realizes he married a little girl instead of a woman.
      • @Jason47 For Your Information, generally.  I have just exchanged emails with the Paley Center. They got back to me within 24 hours!!  They have  However,  I have suggested to them that it is a clerical error Hart instead of Hunter but gave them the info on her years, her character name & that she did indeed marry David Martin. I referred her to imdb & wiki to double check me, should she wish to make a notation.  Now for the bad news:  So, that's a shame. If anyone is in the vicinity, you can view videos sitting in a cubicle. I did so when we lived in Brooklyn. Their hours: The Paley Center is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
      • The way Andre held Dani afterwards, be still my heart. They think its only booty call hook ups, but I'm sensing a love slowly growing.  Way too much booty popping LOL.
      • I'm just pleased the homeless plotline has a point. I'm surprised they're going here this soon with the kids.
      • All caught up on May 2025, and it was rough. Truly rough.

      • I'll focus on the positives: 1. VP has been an unexpected addition to the cast. I wasn't thrilled that Amy had been recast simply to eliminate her. Gotta give props that Josh saw more. Amy actually works as the glue for the Winters/Hastings family. The surprise Audra/Amy relationship has added depth to both characters. 2. Victor/Phyllis. It was fun to watch Victor undercut every single Phyllis pitch/bluff. MS played this well. No way Phyllis can get away with histrionics with Victor. It was a nice touch that Victor acknowledged Phyllis' trauma, but that he knows her all to well. 3. Chelsea reading Billy. MCE is being wasted when Chelsea is a victim. Look at how much more interesting Chelsea has been challenging Billy and Adam. Please bring Chelsea back to life. Same with Adam. 4. Anyone else notice that AG sometimes plays this homoerotic vibe with Adam/Billy. Like that look he gave Billy when Adam exited the bar. Since it's neither actor was there during the Delia s/l, it's just a lot tougher to sell the animosity. Since she's always been there, EH's pain with all the Adam's sticks.
