What a great Friday Eppy!!!

The BE s/l has promise, I like seeing the competitive Clint come out

Antonio gets everything taken away from him was a surprise, but I feel sorry for Carlotta because now she may lose the diner.

Rex and Gigi were toooo cute today, what an adorable flashback!

I cannot wait until Jared's & Nat can be together.

Wow I really don't get all the ahtred for the way Todd's character is going. I think it's brilliantly played and exactly where the character should and needs to be going to finally address all he's been and done.

The week started with low expectations because of everyone's hatred for "teen filler" (mine included) but it turned out amazing IMO. The Todd/Starr/Blair stuff was incredible, and the BE story has taken full flight. NuClint has finally blossomed as a character and I think Bo and Clint are on the verge of switching women - Lindsay has much more chemistry with Clint anyway and their scenes sparkled, and we'd finally get Bo and Nora back. The use of Asa's death to create this new storyline and these new situations, with various characters like Clint grappling with aspects of Asa's legacy and the struggle to keep his company alive, has been brilliant, and it's just getting started, with JVD finally getting to play a Clint that is written with depth.

This person is neither dark nor complex.

Oh, no? Who did you think Todd was talking about when he described Starr's "rape" to Blair? When he asked if there were others? He wasn't talking about Cole. Those scenes were brilliant, classic Todd.

I actually think he did hit Langston. It looked more than just him raising his hand at her.

Regardless, Todd is not living in reality and that does not excuse his actions. With that argument anyone can "believe" someone is hurting their family and pull a machine gun on men, women and children in a high school. Their asses will be spending the maximum sentence in a state penitentiary.

Todd was wrong on all counts. As for him hitting Markko it is not even a matter of him initially believing Starr was raped since the minute he found Markko in the closet he immediately started pounding on him no questions asked. That excuse does not fly.

People say this is the real Todd Manning but I say no freaking way. This person is neither dark nor complex. He's simply vile and demented and if they want to return him to the original character cicra 1993 then the writers better own up to it instead of hiding behind some crap excuse of protective father.

Great post, ITA! :D

Even if Todd is crying rape, that does NOT give him the excuse of hitting anyone. Protecting his family? Pfftttt if he felt there was a real threat, then he should have called the POLICE.

If anyone's the threat it's Todd

Enjoying the scenes as drama and defending Todd's actions like others in the thread are not the same thing.

Overall it's been an amazing week. One Life to Live had me glued to my television during the drama with the Mannings and the potential take over of BE.

Dare I say that for the first time in quite awhile, JvD finally made the role of Clint Buchanan his own in thos scenes with Virgil Webster. I'm loving every bit of seeing JvD play a character who's conflicted between his good and bad side. I agree with the poster who says that Catherine Hickland and Jerry ver Dorn do have chemistry. I wouldn't mind a pairing between their characters.

I cannot agree more. I just finished watching Friday's episode and I enjoyed every minute of it. I think Gary Tomlin is doing a great job and I can't wait for Ron to come back to continue with his stories.

It was definitely an amazing week for OLTL! And for the first time, I bought into Trevor's Todd. We he recounted on those stairs what his vision was that happened...that was Todd Manning.

Great week!! Loved all the riveting drama. My one question is why is Antonio getting everything taken away from him. What's that story?? I haven't followed everything relating to him.
