ATWT: Casting News

According to Mar. 4 issue of SOD, "ATWT is casting Camilla, a woman who is 35-40. The role would start right away."

Sources say that Emmy winning actress Susan Haskell (Ex-Marty,OLTL) is considering the role.

They wouldn't recast such an iconic role as Lily, would they? It would be like recasting Hope on Days of our Lives or Reva on Guiding Light... if anything, I think this could be a Rosanna (or maybe Meg) recast.

Even though I don't wont a Lily recast, (MB is Lily). It would be great if the show was able to get SH in a s/l with Roger. Can you imagine SH & RH working together again on the same soap. It would simply be GREAT!

If anyone can pull off a Lily recast, I think it would be Susan Haskell. However, not now. In a few years from now. That being said, I could definately see her as Meg or Rosanna, probably more Rosanna.

I think Susan working with Roger could work very well. I have always thought that they brought out the best in each other.

They should bring Susan Haskell on as Frannie Hughes...

Then again, if they're brining back a legacy character, I'd rather it be under a better writing and EP regime.

I agree that Susan Haskell would be a good Lily or Rosanna, or even Frannie, BUT, I want her back on ONE LIFE as Marty Saybrooke. C'mon ONE LIFE, don't let ATWT grab her.

That would be a very good casting choice. I can't see her as Lily. She would be just as bad as Roger Howarth is now as Paul.

ATWT will probably beat OLTL to the punch.

My guess is this is for Lily should the MB negotations fall apart.

Eh. The name Camilla just seems to much like "Camille" to me and we've already had one. I know the audition name is different from the actual character's name, but....I just can't stop thinking they might drop the "a" and add an "e" and forget that Camille was originally mulatto (sp?).
