Today's episode was OK, nothing really stood out. However, I must say, Adrienne Frantz (Amber) is SO MUCH MORE BEARABLE when she's in scenes with Jeanne Cooper. La Cooper brings out the best in Frantz.

I guess it's good that Victoria is finally out of the coma, great family interaction there.

David Shaughnessy's directing was also good, I'm confident he'll be upgraded to Executive Producer again very soon.

I must add that I AM SO OVER Phyllis and Nick. Latham should be ashamed of what she's reduced the Phyllis character to and I can tell Michelle hates the writing for the role and is very unhappy with the stuff Latham dished her way. It's time for Phyllis to leave the Newman clan and get her snark back...

I supported Amelia Heinle for a long time, but I'm over her now. Even if Heather Tom were dealing this the horrible character she'd make it more watchable than the current snoozefest. And now Heinle has dragged down Thad who has never been this dull. Hell, even Don Diamont with his limited acting was good with Jack, Nikki, etc. Snorboria? Zzzzzzzzzzz...

They need to ship her off.

I also want to add that NO AMOUNT of Kay propping up that ho Amber is going to EVER make me like that screeching snotbag. And, after Kay's heart attack? She calls 911 and the first thing out of her mouth is "It wasn't me!" Just the kind of person you'd want in a crisis. What with all the snotty crying and screaming and "I owe you one, Big Guy." If by "Big Guy" you mean LML, then I'd say Amberina owes her several BJs.

Maybe it's because I only started watching on Friday after months and months away from the show, but I just don't get -- and am SO not interested in -- this Heather/Michael/Victor law case thingy.

Love that some of that original Y&R background music is back on the show. I never understood why they wanted to get rid of all that beautiful, sinister music for the whiney, generic college rock LML thought was so down with da kidz.
