December 13, 200718 yr Member I bet he comes back. He probably scheduled to leave in January for pilot season again. But now that the strike has put it on hold, I bet he ends coming back.
December 13, 200718 yr Member According to the newest SOW Grayson McCouch is out as Dusty in January Any soap would be lucky to have him. I hope a west coast soap picks him up
December 13, 200718 yr Member I'm sure it's related to pilot season. I'm pretty sure he has an agreement--but as dawn mentioned -- all bets are off with the strike. Grayson is one of the show's/soap's biggest champions. He always talks about the work ethic and talent on daytime. I hope it's just a leave.
December 13, 200718 yr Member I hear they are recasting the role of Dusty. A hard role to recast IMO. Why not just bring popular actor Brian Bloom back!
December 13, 200718 yr Member This will definitely be a difficult role to recast! A large part in my overlooking some of Dusty's poor qualities is McCouch and his sexiness! Hopefully they can get Brian Bloom back. WHat does this mean for Lily and Dusty?

Well, now that they have paired them again. I cant see anyone besides Brian Bloom in the role. At least with Brian in the role I will be able to forget the thug part of Dusty.
December 13, 200718 yr Member That is most definitely NOT the name I was hoping to see under uncasting news.
December 13, 200718 yr Member Bloom is on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which is debuting soon so he's not available.
December 13, 200718 yr Member Bloom is on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which is debuting soon so he's not available. Wondering how long it will last? None of his shows have lasted. If Brian isnt available ...kill Dusty off. I dont want a recast of Dusty. Wait a minute. How about casting Brian Bloom's younger brother in the role??
December 13, 200718 yr Member LOL...figures. That's probably the only reason he and Lily got to do the deed. I don't really care either way, I've never been a huge Dusty fan since Grayson took over the role. TPTB never seemed to know what to do with him. And honestly, if this ENDS the thought of a Dusty/Em pairing, I'm glad.
