Another great show.

David: "Oh my....are those clogs you're wearing?" the look of disdain on his face was priceless. The entire exchange between Viki and David was great, but then I knew it would be, those two never fail to entertain.

Dorian was actually funny as well, she had some great lines.

Can't believe it but I enjoyed the exchange between Talia/Sarah/Layla and Antonio/Cris. I felt so bad for Talia and Sarah.

Enjoyed the whole show today! David is fabulous! David & Vicki had fun scenes today. Dorian was amusing with Charlie and Chuck.

I even liked the Vegas today. And I generally HATE Antonio. What a nice change to have people not fall instantly in love and into bed!

Good show.

I completely enjoyed today's show. Not only am I deeply interested in the stuff with Dorian, David, and Viki, but I was totally reeled in by Antonio and Talia today. I knew absolutely nothing about them or their relationship at all when I started watching today, but within the hour, I was rooting for them to be together.

The turn around this show has made is just...incredible.

Today show was another gem. If Ron keeps this up into the new year I soon will want to marry him!

Great scenes with Talia and Antonio. Good scenes with Sarah and Cristian. The stuff involving the people in Texas was awesome too. Dorian is a class act, and I'm enjoying her! Plus that classic storytelling of having David, Viki, and Marcie all reside in the same motel. They are bound to run into Marcie.

I missed Moday and Tuesday, but yesterday's show was fantastic. David and Viki are phenomenal together. I like her with Charlie, but I like her humorous rapport with David. Antonio and Talia are so sweet together, it's so refreshing. Antonio's finally likeable. I really like Justis Bolding as Sarah, she's very cute.

Thursday was another good episode that had comedy and cliffhangers in just about every storyline!

David at Marcie's door!

Todd making Michael wish todd had killed him!

Dorian proclaiming war on Nora!

Nigel ready to spill the news of Asa's long lost son!

Natalie about to hear news that will gross her out!

Charlie at Nash door looking for his son!

John/Ramsey barging into the room but no Marty/Cole

Another great show yesterday. I enjoyed it all except for the fake Ireland stuff. I am so ready for that to be over with and to not have to see NotMarty on my screen another day, to bad she can't take Cole with her over that cliff.

Loved. Loved. Loved the Viki/David and Gigi stuff. The banter between Viki and David is just so much fun to watch, it really shows that ES and TW enjoy working together. I really hate to see their scenes come to an end, they are just a blast of fresh air together.

Poor Natalie. I like Jared, I can't help it. I want to think his feelings for Natalie are going to come through and he's going to stop this thing he's doing, but I know it won't, it can only get worse, right?

Really enjoyed the scenes with Blair and Dorian. It's strange having Dorian seek revenge on anyone BUT Viki. LOL.

Is it bad of me, but I was rooting Todd on when he was with Michael? :o

    • One of the dumbest situations (Lando) ever. What audience member is going to invest in a storyline with a recast they don't like and a triangle where one character is short-term? It bombed as it should have done. So much of JFP's tenure just reeks of desperation. I don't get how someone could produce SB (which did have flaws but was often brilliant) but make so many terrible mistakes at GL.   I still think JFP would have worked better as a director and music supervisor. Her music work at SB was top notch.

    • We see the same with GH, where Mark Teschner, the casting director, reportedly has less say since Frank Valentini took over. Some producers want to take over every aspect of their shows.  I think Lando may have been a CBS push.
    • No idea but she won Emmys & she was the Casting Director at the same time for both ATWT & GL. She hired Lisa Brown with no job for her. Then Marland made Brown his muse so he created both Iva & Nola for her. But, I think we know that Jill does what Jill wants.
    • I did notice a decline in the quality of the performers being cast once Betty R vacated/retired from her position. We would have been spared from the nightmares of some of the castings that dominated the show in the last decade or so of the soap. JFP was an example of someone, no matter the gender, who had no business being in the position they were in.
    • If Betty Rea was the casting director, why was so much of GL during JFP's reign cast by her? Walker, Deas, Crampton, Lando, etc. JFP takes credit for Dusay as well. What is the point of having a casting director, if you don't let her do her job? What happened when Rea left?
    • So much on here slips my mind but this is the first I remember hearing of Peterson's passing. Very sad. Nell was a thankless role, clearly set up for a cheating storyline with Frank, but Peterson did her best.  Betty Rea Rea was the casting director for the soap opera “Guiding Light” from 1970 to 1996 and simultaneously the casting director for “As the World Turns” from 1979 to 1983.
    • Sorry, just one more post on the Thorntons. How did Ruth and Edna feel about each other prior to Tad dating Dotty?
    • I can't remember exactly but I think it may be 1995 as Jake was trying to hide from a loan shark.
