Agreed, I've had my tolerance of steriod Logan and the severly overrated JD.

I've had it with his bullying and short temper. This is what the 5th or so person he has attacked? Spinelli, Maxie, Lulu, Carly, Nadine, Johnny, ect.

IA with anyone who thinks Logan should be a victim. I don't know if it's the writing, the acting or a combo but he's overbearing instead of entertaining. I'm sure they'll blame that aggression on the service but manhandling women is a problem in itself and coupled with the general bullying makes it worse. If they're planning a domestic violence s/l with Lulu they should skip it. I'd probably wind up wanting both of them to beat each other to death.

Since AZ had Lulu in sight and the string and couldn't kill her in time then he's inept and will play with Nadine long enough for her to get away. Maybe she gets the sword and escapes after he rambles on about whatever.

They tried to make Coop look guilty of something with the way he didn't quite look in the room with the dead body and that mad man expression on his face. Carly did stumble upon his body and I think he's still alive. Some crows should come and nest in her hair while she's out there.

What a way to waste Sam's smart moment but the little man had to get away.

I felt sorry for Alfred having to listen to Emily's boring story about the Bacchanalia and how Nikolas didn't know she was alive. I wish Alfred would have gotten some of that rage and killed her on the spot. If she can't die then maybe she can get lost at sea. Her body washes up on the other side of the world and some hunters find her, nurse her back to life, and she finds her way back to PC after Nikolas finds a better woman. marries her and has a couple more kids.

I don't know what to say about Sonny and Kate having sex at this little house of horrors party and Trevor knowing exactly which room to find them in. But that can't top Jason and the speedboat. So he survives and manages to go down the hallway Elizabeth is walking down because Nikolas didn't really try to find her and Lucky never stood a chance. I guess she walked around it long enough though. How stupid was it of Jason to cover her mouth with his hand? Here he comes to save the day.

Super Sam!

The biggest known H0 of Port Charles is now setting out with some other dopeheads to figure out what could possibly be in this supply ship. Geez I wonder what it could be...like a hooked on phonics guide so she learns the alphabet for once in her sordid life? Gosh imagine my shock that she would just jump at the opportunity like a H0 in heat ready to save the day by uncovering the secrets that shall lie inside this magical ship! More pimping of the Port Charles H0..get a new formula Guza the losa!

By the entire soap community. I remember Frons once compared him to Tony Geary, in an interveiw  . They keep on saying that Duhon is the best new male actor on the show. He's fine and gets the material done however his character is completely unlikeable and I see nothing in his portrayal that is truely awesome or excellent. He is average, and GH rides mediocrity and touts it up to be the best thing you've seen. I just don't think it is as good as the soap medium belives him to be and his character is gratingly annoying in his bouts of violence.

Let's put it this way -- when your character and/or portrayl makes an Emily hater cheer, obviously, you've got issues.

But, yeah. Josh Duhon is being pimped like a mofo at GH. He came in and took the spotlight from Jason Gerhardt's Cooper, made into Scott Baldwin's son, dating Luke and Laura's daughter... Those are heavy, heavy connections for some actor their employer doesn't believe in.

So, regardless of what the internet thinks, GH and ABC are the ones overrating JD. The character is a mess.

I don't think Guza is able to develop likeable leading characters. It's horrible when all of the supporting/recurring characters are the ones you want to see over the leads. I LOVE Milo, Max, Epiphany, Kelly and that fabulous Diane Miller... but I can't stand the leads.

ya know what? for once i simi agree with you.

I do agree that JD/Logan took the thunfer from JG/Cooper ... however i do think that JD is a good actor and no nothing amazing but he is quite good - by far one of the better newbies in ages. the char is a mess and i wish GH would dive into that storyline...

and i couldnt agree more. ebvery single supp person on gh is better than any lead, okay well not any and all, but most. Kate Howard is a new char and i love her... Guza does know how to do newbies - just not frotn burner newbies. I love Carly/Laurean & JMB/Lulu, however i am getting sick of the carly & lulu hour. he has the same problem as all the others - no idea how to balance at all.

    • Charles Grant first appeared as Evan in September 1988. I was surprised to come across this item from December 1985, almost 3 years earlier: "Lots of action behind the scenes at Another World . . . I have bad news for fans of Christopher Holder (Peter Love). He will be leaving the show in the new year. I have heard that the producers are recasting the part and are also seeing actors for new roles. One of the main characters this spring will be Marlee [sic] and Victoria's father. The producers have been talking to Charles Flohe (John "Preacher" Emerson, Edge Of Night) about another new character to be featured. I will fill you in on the results as soon as I know." It seems obviously too early for anyone to have been planning to introduce Evan Frame. Based on the context he's not being considered as a recast of Peter. Maybe they were considering him for the character that turned out to be Neal, who started around the same time as Marcus Smythe as Peter?
    • Randall Edwards (and Brian Tarantina), with the opening night cast of 1985's Biloxi Blues, plus director Gene Saks and playwright Neil Simon.

    • That was my point really. These anniversary party scenes are the first ones, and now they won't be able to use them (meaning these actual scenes, as aired, with OG Ted). They can recreate them but I doubt they will spring for all the extras to come back and film and recreate everything, so it will be more like tight closed in shots of Ted with one or two other actors, or snippets of Leslie's original speech where Ted wasn't visible. It would be hard to recapture the original energy of the scenes are as they were filmed in their full context. I just think that's too bad, but maybe they will prove me wrong. I never really saw what was so off in his portrayal to warrant a recast, anyway, so that colors my perception as well.
    • Yeah, and quite honestly, are there really that many scenes that are flashback-worthy at this point in the run?
    • I know at one point they were on Hulu & i-Tunes. I just checked it on JustWatch.com & it indicates 1 season on Prime Video & on AppleTV. Have fun!
    • That era is so weird...they made a big deal out of all three of those characters and then they just..disappeared! Not that I am complaining. We talk about the bad out of character writing for Alex under JFP..but this was one example that may have led them to write her being so obsessive with Nick.  WHY would Alex accept Flock of Seagulls guy as her brother? They had her in one scene (setting up the Alan return) complain that Alan abandoned her...she blackmailed him into leaving town and she had been angry at him for helping Brandon with Lujack and also using Spaulding for that dumb dreaming death thing. Endless scenes of her with Simon, I can't believe Bev wasn't bored to death! I would also add Pam writing the scene where she lets Ms. Sally die in front of her to protect Alan and  the writing for Alex could be screwy even before JFP.
    • On this day 34 years ago the final episode of Dallas and came in at an astonishing #2 in the ratings after two straight seasons of weak ratings. Interesting Knots was #27 for that week as well:

    • Thank you for clearing that up. I wasn't watching GL regularly yet at that point, but seems to me I should have remembered the big wedding after Leslie's death (which I do remember) described in the profile. Is there a web archive of SOD summaries, or are referring to your own personal collection?
    • I was bummed that 2.0 ended because Mcpherson (headwriter) had really set up some interesting stories and we never got to find out where the stories would go once they resumed production on 'season 2'. I remembered the EP (Ginger Smith) and a lot of the stars gave a lot of credit to McPherson being able to come in on very short notice and come up with stories/plots (I think it was a very short turnaround time of a few weeks).  It was nice that she got to redeem herself after her year long Days stint was not well reviewed/liked.
