Members danthig Posted October 9, 2007 Members Share Posted October 9, 2007 When Robin Christopher(Skye,GH) was pregnant in 2004 her pregnancy wasn't written and when she came back from maternity it was awhile before she got a storyline again.When Ms. Christopher was pregnant in 2006,they made Skye pregnant with Lorenzo Alcazar's baby who is now Lila Rae.Rebecca Hearbst( Liz,GH) came back from her last maternity leave with almost no storyline for awhile and she's on quite a bit now.On Days,they didn't write either of Kristian Alfonso's or Alison's Sweeney's pregnancies in.But on Passions,they both wrote in MacKenzie Westmore's and Lindsay Hartley's pregnancies into the storyline even though it appear to be written in close to the time both actresses were going on maternity leave.But on ATWT,they did write in Martha Byrnes' pregnancies in 2002 & 2006 resulting both Natalie and Ethan Snyder being born.I guess the writers want to keep the Snyder family intact as long ATWT is on the air because they are not reproducing many Hugheses or Stewarts even though I like the Snyders. And why would she? Her husband Ed Scott was the Executive Producer! Eileen Davidson's 2003 pregnancy was also written into Y&R, although Ashley lost the baby.
