Azarenka and Ostapenko should be interesting if Penko isn’t completely unraveling. They’ve only played once before (Viki won that match on clay at RG in 2019).

Vika/Penko lived up to its promise mostly. Ostapenko can have these long stretches when she’s unplayable and you just have to weather the storm and wait for the errors and self-doubt to creep in.

 

With more discipline, Penko would be front runner in these tournies!

Badosa is playing great tennis so I'm looking forward to the final.

I'm used to U.S. tennis media hyping up any players coming along since the days of the Williams Sisters' primes when they promoted any U.S. woman who they thought could beat them.  This frenzy is not new to me, been dealing with it for twenty years now.
