Pospisil defeats Murray! Amazing. And Murray had a cupcake draw with all of the heavy hitters being in the bottom quarter. Aside from last Wimbledon, Andy rarely capitalizes on these opportunities.

I know Istomin, Donskoy, and especially Pospisil are all quality players, but this is the third player outside the top 100 to topple a Big 4 player in as many months.

Well, Vasek's bro romance with Sock ruined his career. He should have never played doubles with him. When they started their bro romance Pospisil was the higher ranked of the two. Once they started winning majors in doubles ....Vasek's ranking went downhill and Sock's rose. Then to top it off once he became higher ranked than Vasek ....he dumped him to concentrate on his singles yet still plays doubles but with the American rejects. I am so happy Vasek won. I love his game and he took it to boring Murray. I can't stand Murray's game or his attitude or his entire box. I hate his coach Jamie Delgado and his twin bitchy wife...LOL. That's the way to beat Murray....you take it to him.

I was LOL earlier when TC finally admitted that Stan is closer in winning the grand slam than Murray even though he is the one that is always pimped...Ha!

Bye Murray!!

Pospisil was ranked #25 and on the rise right before he joined forces with Sock in doubles. He is a good player. He is better than his current ranking. It was nice to see his parents there too and I think his new coach Mark Woodforde will help him go back up to the top. Pospisil also has beaten Berdych. I also thought he was the better player between him and Milos.

Vasek was aggressive and came into the net, similar to how Mischa Zverev beat Murray at the Aussie Open.

Regarding the CGS, though, it's tough: Murray has come closer to winning the French (the final) than Stan has to winning Wimbledon (two QFs).

I'm gonna need Safarova to beat Vandeweghe to top off the night. C'mon Lucie. Do God's work.

Yes, but Vasek hits a bigger ball. Mischa used more finesse when he rushed the net against Murray.

TC was more saying that Andy still has two to win while Stan just needs Wimbledon.

We even get an interview!  But TC blew it with Bozo the Clown interviewing him. He already mentioned how low he is ranked to which Pospisil cringed.

See this is why tennis is the sh!ts because they always pimp the same players. And most of the ones they pimp the fans don't care about and the ratings don't reflect it.

Ha....for some reason I thought Dimitrov was on the top half. Yeah, Dominic has a good chance at getting there.  Wawrinka is still there and John Isner seems to mess things up on occasion but I thought John played lousy today to a LL.

I loved his excuse to why his game went south. Pospisil said he was going through a mid life crisis....haha...probably referring to his break up bro romance with Sock in doubles. I tell you it affected him.

    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
