I don't think Erica should hold back at all calling someone out on baby stealing, which is exactly what Greenlee did. Sure Erica did it too, but she paid for it, admitted guilt.... so IMO she has all the room to talk down to Greenlee and Babe.

Amen, my Sam McCall-loving friend! A-frickin'-men!

The bottom line is that the Erica character has never liked Greenlee in the first place (she tolerated her as best she could because of Jack, but even that only went so far) -- so for her to be empathetic to a woman she has NEVER liked after attempting to steal her grandchild would definitely be odd!

I'm all for recalling history and for characters having their past actions brought up, but what difference would it make in this situation? Erica doesn't like Greenlee for numerous reasons that date back to Enchantment days. I doubt having Erica be reminded about Maddie is going to make her suddenly bond or empathize with Greenlee. Plus, at the end of the day Erica's grandson was in a tragic car crash because of Greenlee's carelessness -- she has a right to be angry. Baby stealing or not.

I totally understand Erica being unwilling to emptathize and forgive greenlee. Totally in character. Erica is not thinking about Maddie. I thought Jack might have reminded her since she was being pretty to HIS daughter. I'm not sayign Erica would epmpathize BUT I think that historically, someone COULD and SHOULD remind her. At the very least it would have made me feel like the writers are in tune to the show's history. This is especially true because Erica was going ON and On to jack about how he has no right to protect her. I'm thinking "HELLO, he defended you during the trial!" If I was Jack I would have called her on that.

Yeah, I agree with those who've said Greenlee and Erica have never liked one another. I've always thought it was because the two characters were a lot a like. You know, selfish, bitchy, and even down right pathetic at times.

Yeah, Erica should be pissed at the woman who endangered the life of her grandchild. BTW, has Erica ever called herself a grandmother yet or anyone else for that matter?

people said for years that Susan Lucci had it in her contract that Erica would never be made into a grandmother and that was one of the conspiracy theories for why Bianca was made into a lesbian. Years later, Erica has 3 grandkids so that rumor has effectively been squashed

I've never understood why people make such a big deal about that. So she doesn't say grandchilren, and? She loves them, that's all that matters. She could call them anything she wants as long as she loves them. :) But it's a very Erica thing to do not to say grandkids. LOL Doesn't surprise me, but doesn't make me think any less of her or her love for them. In fact, that's like the one thing that I think has been consistent with Erica all these years.

I don't know why people think that Susan is so vain. Nothing I've ever seen or heard from her would support that position.

    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
