I love this show and it's the best soap out there. I am so glad Victor and is back and I loved the scene where he puched Chow. I really feel for Nick. He is showing still, he is an incredible actor. Those scenes with Noah had me in tears. And If spoilers are true, good job to LML, don't let these nay sayers bother you.(Ducks) <_<

I love crazy ass Kevin and add in Micheal and Gloria is just a thing of beauty. He just makes the show so fun to watch. I love that with each passing day Colleen is getting more of storyline. I love Kevin and Colleen.

I really hate that they've re-cast Colleen as I'm kinda sorta feeling wanting them together...not much else though these days is making me happy on Y&R, I've defended it since LML took over but the Kevin/Jana webcam story ("The only way to convince her is to really crash the car", "NOW the only way to convince her is to show her the money" etc.) and Gloria torturing Will aren't working for me.

It's always sad when the show one used to love can't even generate conversation on the discussion thread....Goes to show you how Latham has driven some of us away

Today's show was all the way around Snoooooooooze... I lost count on how many times I got up from the television and did something else....It was that pitiful. Even the scenes between Katherine/Cane and Katherine/Nikki were dull to me, and I LOVE me some Katherine (Jeanne Cooper).

I haven't seen today's episode yet but the mention alone of Cane makes me dread seeing it. He totally sucks the life out of any scene he is in. I feel bad for any actor that has to work with him..

Finally checked out yesterday's episode...there wasn't much there beyond one cool scene with Kevin/Colleen that doesn't matter as she's been fired and any chemistry that was there will be gone so why get excited...Not sure what was harder to watch...Devon screaming at Daniel (I wanted Daniel to just rip his bluetooth ear thing off his head) or more of the ridiculous web-camming (boy nothing is more exciting than watching people chat via webcam) or watching yet another stupid coincidence driven plot (Amber's flat)...I have to admit being happy that Cane didn't call the Las Vegas wedding chapel and have them remember him or something like that...still nothing tops Gloria's kiss to Will on Monday so far for most freaky disgustin scene...I've always been a Gloria supporter but watching her play at "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane" with Will is killing her for me...sorry to be so negative! :(

I tuned in to Y&R for a few minutes. The Kevin and Colleen scenes were the ones that drew me in. It's amazing how much I'm wanting these two to get together considering the past they have. It does suck that they've recasted Colleen. The portrayer has good chemistry with Kevin's portrayer.

The Nick storyline sounded good when they preveiwed it in SOD, but I'm not simply interested in getting invested in this story knowing that everything else sucks. LML is bound to screw up this sl one way or another.

Yep Cane is a bore and does suck the life out of any scene he's in.

Can't believe nobody has commented on that bizarre Ji-Min/Amber bit at the end of Wednesday's episode...what the hell was that all about...IF they do something lame like make Ji-Min into some sort of bad guy and de-rail Jill/Ji-Min (one of the things that keeps me interested in Y&R) I'll be furious! :(

Sadly after finally finishing this week of Y&R (I stopped and started Thursday's ep. like five times) I am sad to think the Kevin/Jana debacle is STILL not over...I also am sad to see Adrienne Leon go as Colleen as she was the star of the show last week, she made me laugh out loud several times while dealing with Jana and I found her heart-breaking in scenes dealing with she and Kevin's past...FINALLY the show has a couple with rooting value and they re-cast the role of Colleen...ugh.

Gloria's continual torture of William has put me off the character perhaps forever. It's too much, it's too sick, it's too cruel.

Nikki and Victor are boring me to tears.

Cane and his attitude make me sick. I actually WANT Amber to pull something over on his smug a**. Didn't he start out sort of a cad and a fun-loving guy? Who shoved the stick up his butt? What a nightmare of a character he is?!? He's actually driven me to like Adrian more...

There's no saving the loudness that is Devon...how happy I am that his new romance is taking place off camera...didn't Y&R used to be all hyped as the show with all kinds of diversity? How sad that thier African American Emmy winner and his character are reduced to screaming at top level at Daniel (again).

The randomness and endless coincidences of everything was out of control this week...ending with the eventual throw to the bag of money storyline that is coming up and certinly MORE so-called action and adventure as the goons show up looking for "Plumb" (perhaps the worst soap name of all time) and the cash.

There was some decent stuff, Phyllis and Nick I am loving for the first time, WHAT happened to Josh Morrow with some time off? He's amazing in every scene I see him in, Love Logan but her meet-cute with Cane will probably destroy that quickly...unless the show pulls one of those things where they totally forget it ever happened...do it, this time I won't complain, there was also some nice Paul/Maggie stuff (yeah the boy who likes Cricket also likes much-hated Maggie! LOL!), no Victoria/JT stuff (another couple I just love), and some lame swerve about Ji-Min (perhaps...still haven't had anyone weigh in on that bizarro world ending with he and Amber), it was a mess this week...on the plus I do like Neil and the chick from Fame that had that song "Trouble" out in the 80's doing dinner and getting closer.

    • I watched another batch of episodes and I have a sense of dread. I fear they are setting up a murder storyline with one of my favorite characters as the victim. I don't know if that would be considered a spoiler so won't reveal the character. If that's so, i will be extremely disappointed as this person has done Emmy caliber work and would create such a void on the show. If I'm right, I think I know who the suspect will be and I would rather the suspect be murdered. Joel Crothers's Miles has had more of a presence with his wife Nicole and I enjoy both actors. Crothers is just so yummy and charismatic. Don't know who plays Nicole but I like their relationship. Ann Williams has been phenomenal as Margo. Margo is desperate to keep Eliot and make April happy. Williams had a nice scene with Kibbee's Geraldine about Logan and the baby. Eliot has been so slimy and menacing but he's so watchable. April and Draper are still fighting over the baby and something has happened to April to land her in the hospital. I just keep hoping she'll kick Draper out. The man is such a pain. Raven needs to come back and sleep with him. She can liven him up. Ann Flood and Frances Fisher had a wonderfully written scene where Deborah confesses her feelings for Owen. The writing and acting for this scene was first-rate. I want more of Flood. It's good to see Fisher getting more to do. Steve and his low cut shirts have been sidelined lately. The writers are setting up a Deborah/Nola confrontation. Paige and Brian are still pretty much an afterthought. The movie plot is coming along nicely and there was a great episode where Margo had a party for the movie at her penthouse. Still enjoying the show.
    • See, I imagine it as some kind of "private" room within a bigger casino.
    • I like Nicole for several reasons, she has all the good attributes and qualities of a good person. You have to be a huge hater to dislike someone like her. I consider Dani an underdog. She had a lot to live up to and she hasn't contributed to the family name imo. Naomi and Martin seem to had more flourishing careers than she has. She might've had a long marriage, but Bill cheated on her left and right. I am sure they had some good times, but I wouldn't call it a great marriage or anything to brag about. She modeled for what 2/3 years? That's not that successful, especially if she didn't pivot to something more lucrative. And that is the real reason she plays momanger cause she is living through Chelsea. Dani is nothing without her family name. Nicole doesn't need the Dupree; she made her own mark! And that's what you should do when you're born with privilege, flip that [!@#$%^&*]! The opportunity is there for the writers to play up her insecurities and resentment issues, but will they? There must've been a reason for her to choose Bill over someone with more status, or coming from another wealthy family. Right? I don't expect everyone to understand her, but I do, and probably would've made her a more screw up and didn't amount to much outside having some kids. The lack of crossover from the in-laws always bothered me, too. I hope at some point we get some family dinners. I know it's not earth-shattering entertainment, but I'm a sucker for those scenes. And you can still move the story along, too! I forgot all about my boo Jacob, and he was on today. He, for some reason, reminds me of Garfield the cat!

You're right about that hetero bio son Dupree, though.
    • The casino set needs to be upgraded or needs to go. Why would anyone rich spend their time in the wood paneled 1960’s room instead of just playing cards in what I assume is the normal nice looking casino area.
    • It wasn't his first appearance, though; per the end credits, he is a principal guest star (a.k.a. recurring).
    • Vanessa was flirty with Smitty, and it was weird. Smitty didn't think anything about it was cute or fun. The sex talk between Cody and Vanessa at Orphey Gene's? Also weird af. We needed either a longer scene or another scene to make any of that work. Vanessa is coming off like a nymphomaniac. Forced for plot convenience, just as it was when we saw Eva (HUH???) in that casino backroom. Sorry, none of this casino stuff works. I thought the same thing -- I enjoyed all the different character groupings, but the dialogue was not natural and didn't flow. Yep, kinda weird. I don't get it. Of course, I also don't get the discussion of not having Doug as the surgeon. Is he the only doctor anyone trusts? Then we have June's entire heart procedure talked about, performed, and over within 20 minutes of screen time. -- Cady McClain gives us a different variation of that accent every time she appears. The dialogue between Pamela and Dani is too cute by half. -- BTG, please stop mentioning Martin's run for the presidency. -- I hope we're not going to see Ted soften towards Dana and be taken in by her line of bull. She just blew up his life, and I don't want to see him sympathize with her in any way.
    • Agree. But I would describe him as being disappointed not bitter.
    • >>><<< Great minds! Kat certainly does prove that point. She's been given a lot to work with, so we shouldn't be bored of her anytime soon. I am interested in all her storylines at the moment, and curious how the show will use the affair to impact her romances and business stories. Well, what movie was it? Cause… I noticed it too. The first couple of seconds of the song were slightly different. OMG! Great call, precisely the same situation.
    • I think Kin was dissatisfied at GH in as much as Scotty had been pushed aside for Luke/Laura and the writing was doing him no favors as Scotty was now seen as an obstacle to their romance. So with his contract up he was offered big $$$ to move to Texas, which you can't blame him for. In addition to the money, I recall he was promised that Jeb would be a more dynamic character than Scotty. The money came through but not the story, so don't blame him for being slightly bitter.
