Aren't you being a bit harsh? My gawd. I was sadden when she left ATWT for Days. But never in my mind did I think she was a bitch for leaving. Funny how you were so happy to have her back at Days when she made the jump. Talk about being ungrateful.

So we are going to flame a wonderful actress in Mary Beth, because some fan from Ontario reported to their local newspaper that they OVERHEARD Mary Beth Evans making this comment to ATWT Executive Producer Chris Goutman?

...on to the next load of sh*t...

Mary Beth I am sure would have NEVER made a comment like this. I just REFUSE to believe this!

I think MBE has done a great job on Days. The problem has been that they isolated Steve and Kayla from Bo and Hope. The story would have worked so much better if there was more family interactions. It was stupid that Kayla was the only one really trying to help Steve. Bo and Hope would have died for Steve also so it would only make sense that they would have been at Kayla's side through the whole ordeal.

ICAM!

And the return of Nichols and Evans is only a "disaster" and "huge dissapointment" for those fans who have not been enjoying them.

However, I disagree. I couldn;t be more happy to have them back and they are the only reason why I was able to stick by DAYS from Jan - May!

Not to mention, their acting has been top notch.

I sure hope the show involves them in this DiMera/Brady Feud!

I'd take Mary Beth back in a heartbeat. Given that she jumped, and then suddenly it sounds like Days isn't going to go past 2009, and she could suddenly be backburned for months due to the budget, I don't think "I made a mistake" is some bitchy condemnation of DOOL.

You should go back to May 2006 posts and re-read my posts about Nichols and Evans' returns. I was not happy about the returns. At the time, I didn't give a rat's ass about Steve and Kayla, and I still don't. I like Steve, and I can tolerate Kayla, but together, they do nothing for me. So no, I was not happy to have her back at DAYS when she made the jump. So no, I'm not ungrateful. :)

There's a reason MBE is more popular than Farah (aside from her vastly superior acting). The former has a reputation for being positive and respectful towards her co-stars and employers. Had this been Farah, we wouldn't be analysing some remark she alledgedly made in a private conversation. She would have mouthed off directly to the mags.

    • But that is pretty much situation normal for all soaps. They do not tend to continue to show things like surgical scars. They also play fast & loose with hospital procedures.
    • Trump and Netanyahu are giving "Let them eat cake".  And it's horrific. In 2013, Pope Francis removed a bishop from running the Limburg Germany diocese because he was constructing an opulent 31-million-euro building. Pope Francis stood up for the poor, the unhoused, the migrants of all faiths.  He lived simply and ordered that when he died, that he wished to be interred in a simple wooden coffin. I sincerely hope that the new pope Leo will follow Francis' example.
    • Co Sign!!!!   I have been watching the show regularly over the last few weeks and am pleasantly surprised by how much easier it is to watch each day. This definitely is confirmation for me that Paula and Jeanne wrote the stroke episodes, cause I felt the same way watching those. Could be more exciting for sure, but interactions now make more sense and everything seems to be a bit more character driven which is great. I will add though, there are still about 10 or so characters i'd love to see gone, and hope a few will exit in the future! Otherwise, happy with the changes so far.
    • Sean Freeman looks good in anything. Would not change one thing. Arielle Prepetit looking cute.

    • There is suffering everywhere you look, says mother of emaciated baby girl trapped in Gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czrv5rl73zdo Quoting excerpts from BBC article: The baby's mother Najwa, 23, is changing Siwar's nappy. She weighs just over 2kg (4lb 6oz). A baby girl of five months should be around or over 6kg. "There was no food when I gave birth to her," says Najwa. "If I wanted to feed myself so I could breastfeed her, I had no nutrients to make my health better... She now only drinks formula milk, and we don't know how we'll be able to provide it for her." Israel has banned international journalists from entering Gaza to report independently. According to Siwar's doctor, Ziad al-Majaida, "Nothing enters through the borders, no milk, food or anything. This leads to big problems here for the kids. This baby needs a specific type of milk. It was available before, but because of the border closure, the stocks have run out for a while now." Since the beginning of the year, according to the UN, about 10,000 cases of acute malnutrition among children have been identified. Food prices have rocketed by as much as 1,400%. Charity kitchens, which have helped hundreds of thousands of Gazans, are shutting as food supplies run out. Twenty-five bakeries supported by the World Food Programme have been forced to close. Israel cut off all humanitarian aid and other supplies from entering Gaza on 2 March, and resumed its military offensive two weeks later The United Nations has said the Israeli blockade constitutes "a cruel collective punishment" on civilians. The UN's humanitarian director, former British diplomat Tom Fletcher, said that international law was unequivocal. "As the occupying power, Israel must allow humanitarian support in... Aid, and the civilian lives it saves, should never be a bargaining chip," he warned. From the BBC reporter: I put this point to Boaz Bismuth, a leading member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party. He (Bismuth) denies there is an aid crisis caused by the blockade. "There is food in Gaza... Israel wouldn't do such a restriction if the population didn't have food. I mean, I know my country perfectly well," he (Bismuth) said. BBC reporter: I put it to Bismuth that he was denying the evidence of people's eyes, that children were starving. "There are not starving children. I repeat again." He (Bismuth) said that there had been allegations months ago of famine, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza "which was crap". ----  ----  ---- A UK-based advocacy group for Israel has the nerve to claim war may reduce obesity in Gaza https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/may/10/uk-lawyers-for-israel-condemned-over-claim-war-may-reduce-obesity-in-gaza
    • Joel Crothers would have been perfect as Owen (maybe because Margo wasn't too far off Denise). A shame he couldn't have played a dual role. Eliot did have more room to grow. I wonder if whatever allegedly happened with Denny Albee played a part in both their exits.
    • Andre is the standout in the cast among the males when it comes to fashion.

    • I remember Evie's last scene and it was in Justin Marler's house and she is telling them that Ben is asking for a reconciliation and she is going to join him. I always have wondered what Janet Grey did after leaving Guiding Light (I know from the interview with Kathleen Cullen that she did have a baby and they stayed in touch for awhile).
