All Soaps: Acting soulmates

There's a thread like this on another board, and I know how SON love their thread's like this, so I figured I'd bring it here.

Who do you think have been acting soulmates on your soaps? Doesn't have to be couples, lovers, or even friends. It's all about chemistry, how the actors sold the storyline despite or inspite of the writing. How the characters were their best because of their interactions with the other person. Who do you think did it best?

I'll give my list later. LOL I'm afraid if I give it now, I'm going to scare people off.

And please, can we not turn this into a thread about one show over another. That's all I ask. This is about acting soulmates on all sopas. :)

Matt Ashford and Missy Reeves. The two of them could make reading a cereal box compelling. I also loved the way Missy would always light up in scenes with him.

Quite frankly, no couple on GL has had SO much chemistry as Maureen Garrett and Michael Zaslow (Holly and Roger). Their entire tortured and complex relationship simply would not have rung true with anyone else in the role. A distant runner up would be Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman (Reva and Josh).

Alicia Minshew and Eden Riegal(sp?). These two have the best chemistry ever!

Definitely. They really do have great chemistry. They always made their relationship as sisters so believable.

Oh, absolutely. They were so wonderful together.

My list:

AMC:

Michael E. Knight and Cady McClain. (I'm not T&D fan, but these two had it in spades. They were unfrigging'belivable together)

Marcy Walker and David Canary (Adam and Liza brought it, no matter what they were doing)

Vincent Irizarry and Susan Lucci (ever seen the D&E basement scenes? If you have, you're lucky and I rest my case. If not, you must. They brought out something in each other and their characters that no one has since, and IMO no one will again.)

Rebecca Budig and Alicia Minshew. (Kenlee, nothing more needs to be said)

MEK and DC

JR and Jamie (as little boys and most recently with JY and JB playing them)

Alexa Havins and Jacob Young (Love them, hate them, they got it)

Cam Mathison and Esta T. (God, I miss them)

I'll do OLTL and GH later. :)

ATWT;

Michael Park & Maura West - I don't like CarJack but they seem so natural together.

GL:

Tom Pelphrey & Stephanie Gatschet - I think they're acting styles were so complimentary. Pelphrey does tend to overact and Gatschet's subtle style brought out the "heart" in Jonathan's character.

Justin Deas & Ron Raines - Buzz & Alan are easily the best enemies/friends pairing on this show.
