I'd say Drake has as much reason as anyone to be pissed at Days. He, Kristian, Deidre and Peter all have more reason than anyone right now.

If my character were in a coma most of this year, and just had recently awakened, yeah I'd be more than a little upset.

I can understand why he'd been pissed but on the scale of actor mistreatment, this falls pretty low. Drake has been continuously frontburner for 20 years. Moreover, he continued to receive a steady pay check while off-screen when many shows would have just fired him. When you compare that to the treatment of say, Suzanne Rogers (DAYS only Emmy winner but with no story since the mid-80's) or Matt Ashford (fired 3 times, backburnered on countless other occasions, lied to, strung along etc), it's nothing to be b!tching to the press about. Relative to 99% of the actors in daytime (many of whom are considerably more talented than him), Drake has had it very good.

I have never been any real big fan of Matthew Ashford, but I do think he was treated bad by the show, and JER never gave him any good storyline either.
