^Kay's this year's [S.W.S.N.B.N.]. LOL!

This is truly great news for B&B fans! Frons you screwed up, yet again letting this one who was passionate about making AMC golden again slip through the cracks!

What if Frons goal all along was to just have Kay write bible,s for the OLTL and AMC ONLY. That was the deal. He proably paid her big bucks to create this. Now Frons, has taken those bibles and he hired new writers to write based up that bible. It would make sense since Kay didnt go B&B when first let go from Y&R. She proably worked it out with Bell before hand. Or it could be fate....

But Frons didn't hire NEW writers for AMC. He hired former PC hacks for AMC, and there is a chance RC will turn out to be, like Valentini, a blanket yes-man. Under B & E, PC became the new 'Dark Shadows' or All MY Vampires. It worked for the short term, but it wrote the show into a corner it couldn't break out of.

Is anyone minding the store at ABC at all? They hire experienced, respected consultants only to ignore them, and let them go? It tells me that possibly $$$$ is the issue at hand for OLTL. They didn't have the money to fire Higley.

Her consulting contract with ABC Daytime is over, she is co-HW with Bell now

Now if they hire Victoria Rowell & bring Davetta Sherwood on as her daughter. I'll watch B&B again.

That'd be good but B&B has very little experience with bringing in minority characters. The show is set in LA, where Latinos are a plurality, but where are they on B&B? And you can forget about blacks, and Asians, and everyone else on that show unless they sign on for recurring for like two months.

^Ooh, but happy to see Kay back somewhere. Why didn't AMC pick her up? She was writing for the top soap!!!!!???

There were three Latino attempts so far (1996-1997 with GH castaways, 2001-2002 with Paulo Benedeti from GL). The only that was working was Lorenzo Lamas and his clan, IMO.

The problem is less a race issue on B&B but the limited cast. This however is no excuse for the total lack of diversity, though. Thinking back to the 90s B&B had a great twen set with Lindsay Price and Lark Voorhies adding to Dylan Neal and Maitland Ward....

I still can't find any announcement.

There isn't one.

Although we have to keep in mind that B&B is hush-hush with all its comings and goings my hopes also diminish - I guess this couldn't be true after all.

I still was hoping that Kay would have been the new head writer for AMC but anywhere she goes she will be just fine...she was great at Y&R and the show has stunk under LML

She certainly didn't waste anytime moving on from a consultant at AMC to B&B did she! Wasn't that interview or speech she gave to a college class only a month or two ago?? She said she was interested in the HW position for AMC at that time. Well, AMC's loss is B&B's gain!
