Now that the lighting is a bit more dim on this set, I'm liking it a tad better.

OMG! That ending... did anyone notice the music? Watch the final few seconds and tell me what that music is from! It sounded just like the music that played during the possession storyline. Like a hand banging on a piano, LoL. I even heard, like, one second of the flute!

All they need to add are the sounds of birds and monkeys screaming and it's possession all over again. I loved those. So animalistic...very primal, dangerous...

ETA: Speaking of music cues, does their budget effect what they use? Because even so far back as 2002, they had some great stuff they aren't using anymore. There is this once that sounds like hollow wood blocks hitting together....I believe it was used in one of my top Days cliffhangers ever: Austin overhearing Sami reveal everything to Lucas at her Vegas wedding. Then a delicious fadeout.

Oh, and the damn freeze-frames are beyond stupid. Fadeout with a good music cues!! Use Willow's budget for that—money well spent. The freeze-on-Nick and the feeze-on-Sami-with-food-in-her-mouth endings were beyond dumb in what were great episodes.

Thursday's show is even better ... the ending ... oh my god I got chills reading it!

But why do TPTB rehash some scenes from the previous episode like they did today with EJ faking illness and Julie reading the letter?

That always irked me. And almost all of the shows do that.

That always irked me. And almost all of the shows do that.

The worst part is whenever they re-play the same scenes that we left off on yesterday, only today they play them slightly different than they were the day before, thus weakening the previous day's cliffhanger.

If you guys thought Wenesday's show rocked, wait until you see Thursday's. Stefano Dimera has returned

Still at the end of my rope regarding the hairbrush. Let's move on, please. Roman has a brain, though, and Bo finding Chelsea was nice and dramatic.

Oh, Tony and his bloody meditation. A little too much Bart and Rolf today. I love how Sami and EJ don't care that they left their (well in Sami's case, Lucas') cellphones behind - but I bet that won't even be an issue next time we see them. It was good to see Joe again, abut color me confused. His father was in love with Colleen, not Stefano himself. What the hell was with that final scene?!

Pub stuff was great again. Nice to see movement with Doug calling in his favors and Bo trying to break through Shawn's stubbornness. A reference to the Ireland story a few years back wouldn't have killed them, though.

Yeah, and the repeating and altering previous day scenes annoys me, too.

Wow! Great show today. I enjoyed almost eveyrthing today. Can't wait for Bo and Hope to get into the tunnels at Doug's Place. I didn't expect Sami and EJ to get caught outside the mansion nor Chelsea to get caught at the beach. It was such a great ending with Stefano calling Sami "Colleen". We also get Marlena tomorrow, John/Tony scenes, and Bo is on again. I also think that Blake Barris (spelling?) is doing a fantastic job as Nick. I love how he is not the typical soap hunk. Keep it up Days!
