ATWT is just awful. The vets may be in "storylines" (I disagree with that), but they definitely aren't showed enough. Colleen Zenk Pinter only has 19 episodes since the start of 07? It's disgusting. Who's leading the pack with 69 episodes? Jennifer Landon. It's disgusting.

The vets may be on, but they aren't really driving their storylines. Lucinda & Craig are playing a supporting role (IMO) to a story that should be all about them. Tom and Margo are doing what? Lily & Holden are doing what? Barbara's out taking a long walk.....

The vets should be dominating ATWT right now. The younger set has proven they cannot carry this show and it's time for the president of CBS Daytime, Mrs. Barbara Bloom to remove the hack writer known as JP from control of ATWT. She needs to be tar and feathered, and blacklisted from ever writing for a soap again.

And let me add that Kack needs to end now! I am going to say it until I am blue in the face. And let's get the romance with Luke and Noah started!!

I don't get why Susan's on Dusty's ass about "dumping" her precious girl. And does it seem unfair to anyone else, KMH isn't being used every. frackin'. day. up until her maternity leave, and I had to watch Carly running around like an idiot for months until they sent her off?

I personally thought today's show was great. The Jack/Carly drama was great, especially considering how obvious it was that Jack is only with Katie as a means to try to forget Carly. Won't happen, dumbass. Won't happen. I really loved Carly's attitude and aura today, I have to say. The way she reminded Parker..."I'm the one you don't like, remember?" She's being strong again, and I like that a lot. Hopefully they can stay on track with this.

I love Dusty with the Stewart ladies. Glad he came to Allison's rescue today because that Lance dude is [!@#$%^&*] creep, seriously. I wasn't paying complete attention, but when he went back to the Lakeview and was talking to the clerk, one of them mentioned something about calling to bring movies to Lance's room, and I automatically thought of him "enjoying" Allison's porn in his hotel room. If Lisa saw that, she'd probably gut his ass in the lobby.

*Really* enjoyed the stuff between Noah and Maddie. Today wasn't even about Noah and Luke for me, which is good, because I didn't want to be thrust into them being an item. The development of Maddie and Noah's friendship should be good to see. I liked their chatter about old movies. I have to say, though, Luke being so pissed off was just a touch contrived. I mean, come on, would he really be THAT ticked off because Noah was late? Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to see what they'll be up to this summer. Interesting, Noah last lived in Missouri. I wonder if that'll have anything to do with

You know, I'm definitely in the majority here, but I think ATWT is somewhat of a good place for the time being. I'm like all of the storylines for the most part, though Katie makes it a little difficult to like the one she is involved with. Eh, I guess I'm enjoying the show right now.

Love Luke and was looking forward to his love interest, but I'm not loving Noah so far. He's not nearly the actor that Van is and I don't think the character is that interesting either. I was hoping they'd really knock it out of the park instead of just letting Luke settle. Of course it's just the first day and things could improve. But so far, I'm not that impressed.

Also, call me crazy, but I miss Jade. The only time we see her is to ruin the character with Gwen and Will. They need to remove her from that story, boost the friendship with Luke and focus on her family connections right now. What was the point of making her Rose's daughter?

Katie and Jack taking over the show is terrible and the alternative of Paul and boring Meg isn't much better. SHe has ZERO chemistry with Craig and they need to bring back Sierra (Finn Carter). If Craig has to date a Snyder girl, it should be Iva or Ellie, not Meg.

The show needs to do a major revamp of the 30/40 year old characters. It's so isolated right now and Brad needs to go. Bring back, Chris Hughes, Andy, Lein, Frannie, Sabrina, Nikki, etc. So many good characters wasted that could flesh the show out.

Loved Noah and thought it scenes with Maddie and Luke were a highlight. The promise of having two decent young men in a romance is awesome. Most new characters these days are "dark" and turn out to be drug addicts, losers, criminals, etc.

Susan's scenes, and Carly's (especially Carly's), were the highlight for me. Also, overall I felt Richard Culliton's strong understanding of character, and penchant for catchy dialogue, shone through in the writing.

I was disappointed in Noah after the big buildup though. He doesn't seem all that interesting. I don't think the actor is charismatic enough. There are some new characters who come on and you go "I HAVE to see more of this new guy/girl" -- I didn't have a reaction like that to Noah at all. On AMC for instance, you knew right away that Frankie would be great with her chemistry with Bianca, the whole "Bianca-la" mouth-to-hand-to-mouth kiss, and the way she was holding her own against Erica Kane. They should have introduced Noah with Lucinda.

Call me cynical, but I'm not convinced that the show will actually go ahead with a Luke/Noah relationship if they start getting a bunch of fan mail for Noah/Maddie after Friday's episode. They could end up having Luke be the third person in a triangle for a little bit and that's it.

I agree with the poster who said they are missing Jade. This Luke/Maddie friendship is so contrived compared to the scenes Luke and Jade had. Is Elena Goode on vacation?

I also agree that the vets need to drive more story. I do give the show credit for making Lucinda a driver of story though -- I don't think that storyline is revolving around Paul and Meg exclusively.
