Haven't been on in a few days, saw this on a board. It is legit. Jim Reynolds had heart surgery earlier this week and is now recovering at the hospital. His wife Lissa is providing updates at jrrecovery.com

I hope he gets better real soon.

Days and the Cop Shop won't be the same until he returns.

Thanks, Jason! :(

Hope everything goes well and that he's involved with Jett's debut and the DiMera returns.

I hope his recovery is speedy and he's back home to Days soon. Get well soon James.

Abe's "wife" will be back soon and his nephew so, he needs to be there.

Thanks, Jason. I was missing Abe and sorry to learn of his health condition. Best wishes for a successful and speedy recovery and that we get to see our Abe on screen before too long.

I wish Jim Reynolds a speedy recovery. We'll probably get another temp fill-in since it will take awhile for a recovery and before he'll be able to return to acting. My temp pick would be Nathan Purdee(ex-Hank Gannon, ONE LIFE).
