I understand what you mean, but its just refreshing to see something original for once, rather than a CSI or Law and Order clone. It doesn't hurt either that the actors are top notch, the writing is sharp and visually, its absolutely beautiful.

All you said is true, but somehow I still can't get over the premise, it is always around me and it is bothering me. Some day, somehow, someone will have to resolve that dramatic situation and then where's your show? Eric points to some of those things - 40 episodes of people solving crimes? Yes, it's been done on many shows, including the visually glitzy CSI, which is all gadgetry and the lates most heinous crime, but I'm not sure if this one will work. You know what happens when all of a sudden in the middle of your show you change course...

I'm sooooo sorry Bryan Fuller left Heroes, even more so knowing who replaced him!

PD is a breath of fresh air. So inspiring and original... I enjoyed watching the entire first season and I'm sad that it was so short. Hopefully Season 2 will be even better than the first one.

That'd be nice. The show is so different and interesting...

while I admit I never quite loved Pushing Daisies as much as I wanted to (in fact I think the last episode I saw was the Headless Horseman Halloween ep, I guess I should catch up before Oct 1), in this week's Ent Weekly two things the creator said in the Fall TV Preview had me intrigued--he said during last year's episodes they realized that the show worked better when Chuck and Ned work together as a team and not at cross purposes--which I think is smart. More interesting they said this year the show would grow into a "Twin Peaks-like soap opera" which, as a soap and Twin Peaks fan has me much mroeinterested I admit--though curious how they'll juggle that with the current format and charms of the series. Either way, they wouldn't have had much room to grow and would prob burn out if they had stayed with last year's format.

I can't wait for this show to return. I love this show and I just bought the DVD because I missed the last couple of episodes. I'm going to catch up. October 1st can't come fast enough.

2 more days eeee! I so miss my pie maker, the girl he calls Chuck, Emerson Cod, Olive Snook, Aunt Lily and Aunt Vivian. I even miss Jim Dale(the narrator)

Loving this season so far

Last tonight's show was awesome awesome. Can't think of one scene I didn't enjoy. This show is so much love!

Loved all the episodes so far this season but IMO this was the best one so far. All four main characters are great. They all have their own unique quirks and I love it.

If anyone knows anything about life after "death," it is ABC's Pushing Daisies.

So despite reports today in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety that it "may be on its deathbed," I can tell you that Daisies is not dead. At least not yet.

But the clock is ticking—with a loud, boisterous boom. And here's what ABC sources and executive producer Bryan Fuller tell me...

Bottom line: Pushing Daisies is not officially canceled, nor has a decision been made yet, but we have very little time to try and save it. Like one or two weeks, tops.

"We honestly don't know yet," creator Bryan Fuller says of Daisies' fate. "We've asked ABC what our future is, and the response has been wait and see, wait and see...We don't know yet, and I'm not sure they know. I think they're waiting on a few factors."

Although yesterday was the final day of production on Daisies' episode 13 (I'm told it was an emotional day on set), ABC insiders tell me that the network is waiting on one crucial determining factor: how Daisies does when it returns this coming Wednesday after being preempted for two weeks (for Dancing With the Stars and the Country Music Awards).

"We do want to see how Daisies does in the postelection viewing environment, which we have not been able to see yet," one ABC source tells me. "The next week or two will be critical."

Note: If that doesn't make you fans email everyone you know to tell them to watch Pushing Daisies this Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ABC—which, by the way, happens to be a laugh-out-loud funny and ultimately deeply moving episode (I cried) called "Oh, Oh, Oh, It's Magic"—then please see a doctor, for your heart may have turned to stone.

"I think they're going to see how we do next week," Fuller confirms. "Our numbers went up by a million viewers opposite Obama—so thank you, Republicans! (Laughs) We're hoping it will be an upward trend, and if we can do that, I think we have an argument. But if we go down, then that does not bode well. And so we need everybody to do everything they can, and tell one and all that they need to tune in next Wednesday for this episode, and hopefully we can have an argument."

You heard the man. Tell your friends (especially any with Nielsen's boxes!). Now. For the love of creative scripted programming, which appears now to be a dying breed.

I am very disappointed by ABC. Very. They axed three great shows, but Private Practice lives????? That crapfest should have been cancelled along time ago. It is only watched by 7 million people because of Addison Montgomery, ex Shephard. ABC, do us a favor, cancel Private Practice while you're in the mood, and bring back Addison on Grey's where she belongs...

I am so sad about PD. Sooooo sad. Such a wonderful show. I am really rooting for another network to pick it up.
