Members Keith Posted May 12, 2007 Members Share Posted May 12, 2007 I've seen Jeremy often portrayed as having a chip on his shoulder due to Mike, and many writers I've seen do it (yes I'm talking fan fic here) to parallel Bill and Mike's fallible relationship. So, even with Mike in israel with Jeremy, I can definitely see him being a there-but-not kind of dad, because it's kind of what he had growing up. Mind you, Mickey was his real dad, far as he was concerned, but finding Bill was his blood dad did shake him up for the rest of his life, so I could see it reflecting, and backfiring. Jeremy and Stephanie are two people of this generation in Salem that deserve to have a chip on their shoulder, if anyone does. Stephanie had Kayla, yes, but growing up without a father, but knowing that he was this wonderful man from all these stories and not really having that father figure has to be devastating. At least Jessica Fallon was pregnant when she left the show in the 80s and Nick could actually be created. Unless they have it that Jett was the product of an affair Theo had and they found out he was a Carver after he died, looks like another rewrite of history. I'm not saying I disagree with it though. I don't know if I can really judge how good of an actor he was because being AMC...being a black character...he was on the show a total of 8 times in what 4 months?
