No, because that's my alter ego -- and would still be, if a certain mod hadn't forgotten they said they'd reinstate that name :P -- And it's spelled correctly. If you said JERCokesFan, however, I'd kindly tell you, "Oh, actually, it's JERSoapsFan."

I'm not yelling at anyone here; I just think that, if we're going to "respect" Frances by not talking about her character's death, we should pay the same respect by at least spelling her name correctly! It's like calling God, Gawd in a letter written to him. It's just not right.

And once upon a time Carrie and Austin were the "it" couple. Look at them now. Not even on the show.

And JSF, I know that Shawn and Belle are like 25, but I still don't like them taking airtime away from characters like Doug, Julie, Maggie, Victor, Bo, Hope, Billie, John, Marlena and Chris Kosticeck

Rachel Melvin is 22. She has been on the show since she was what 20 or 19? That's young.

Blake Berris turns 23 this year.

Darrin Brooks turns 23 this year.

Brandon Beemer turns 27 this year and Martha Madison turns 30. IMO, this is the age that Belle and Shawn should have been introduced to the show or at least 25 and up. That's how soaps introduced the next generations most of the time, not these Disney channel young-uns. Nick Fallon, Chelsea and Max for that matter all could fit well on a Disney channel show and people are not watching soaps for that. Next generations can be introduced with characters that are not in their lows 20s IMO.

This is exactly my thought. Yes we all know that the teens/twentysomething are days' future but I don't need to see them on my t.v all the time it is getting to the point that these people are popping up in my nightmares. I say give them rest for awhile and let me see more of everyone else.

    • It was a real-life instance; I remember he had IG stories about the injury.
    • I don't know what killed Penny's husbands, but that sentence about "losing two husbands in automobile accidents & is now married to a racing-car driver" made me laugh out loud.
    • Shari Anderson was also head writer for a few months before the strike began.
    • I would agree.  Does anyone ever notice in Jan 1988/even Dec 1987, the show started to refer to characters from the past and mainly the Frame family?   It sounded like Lemay talk.  Jason Frame mentioned his sister Sharlene in early 88 but the ending credits still listed MD has head writer and I think Lemay was about to take over at that point.  The show hired Lemay back I believe to prepare for the 25th anniversary and try to recapture the audience that was lost by bringing the past back up.  Then the writers strike happened and all of a sudden the writing changed except when Sharlene Frame came back and we heard more family chatter again.  Maybe at this time they knew the strike was coming near to an end the producer forced the scab writing team to introduce Sharlene. I suspect even though Lemay was not writing at the time, the intent was he is coming back and the show consulted with him on his future storylines.
    • -- My Laugh of the Day goes to Carly calling the Metro Court a "five-star hotel." -- It's crazy, but what Drew did to Wiley makes Drew come off worse than if he actually murdered someone. -- Cynthia Wattros really needs to lay off the Botox. Because her face doesn't move, she's doing WAY too much with her eyes. -- Josh Kelly is looking so good with the new haircut. -- Rory Gibson continues to impress as nuMichael. Just another reminder that Josh Griffith doesn't know how to write for talent. -- This Lucky goodbye is sad -- in all the wrong ways. It could not be more pathetic. There's no doubt in my mind that Valentini told the writers they had 3 days to write him out and to make it ugly. No one will miss JJ.

    • Teach me to post cocky about all these rampant relations! As for the cut, it just made Leo Howard look more stunningly handsome. There are guys I think are hotter, but he's got the prettiest face hands down.
    • Yes Arianna and Tate are blood related through Sami and Theresa. They are also adoptive/honorary related because Arianna's third.parent is Sonny, which makes Arianna and Tate related through Justin and Isabella.
    • I saw more about Biden Old or the staged feud between Elon and Trump or just the usual distractions, but I will admit I don't stomach most of the news anyway.
