It is funny that they would play the new theme in the bumpers before it actually premiered in the opening

.

"What we have is a failure to communicate"

I am going to reserve judgement on this until I see it.

As someone (a traditonalist) who liked the original, the second and the elegant four seasons theme I don't know if I'm gonna lile it!

Like I said b4...think of it this way. Fans were shocked when Jack Urbont's theme, "The World Turns On and On," debuted in November 1981...it was modern for its time, and fans were surprised b/c they felt that the theme/opening did not fit ATWT's image. The same could be said about this theme...it is modern, which is nice. And we may not be as shocked like in 1981 as All My Shadows has said, but surprised nonetheless.

I just noticed that also, I hope it still happens though, if it does not happen I think it will be time for a hand written letter to the heads of CBS explaining my disgust about this and then I will also go into detail about what I find wrong about the show, it would probably be the biggest letter they have ever gotten.

I sorta like it. Its different and it has this edgy feel to it. I like it because its not boring or more of the same old bs. When exactly is the new opening going to occur? Are we absolutely sure its the 30th? Hopefully it will show the whole cast and feature the globe in a new and exciting way. I really like Y&R's current opening. Its just so classy and yet sexy. Plus it makes feel very emotional when I hear the opening but in a good way.
