This week on Young and the Restless:

Phyllis decides to insinuate herself into Sharon's job;

Brad decides to teach Colleen a 'valuable' lesson;

One spouse has another spouse investigated;

Kay hires Michael to be her attorney (we saw this coming);

Grandson and grandmother have a heart-to-heart;

Kevin sticks his nose in Jill's and Ji Min's business;

Someone comes up with a quick lie to cover up dirty deeds

Phyllis' antics sends others over the edge.

Let's discuss as we always do; the good of the show; what can be left out, and what tripped us out. :)

Already saw it and let me just say, Victoria Rowell had me on the floor.

That line delivery was so ice-cold and matching: ROFL Dru talking to Sharon about Phyllis...

Loved seeing Lauren getting her business side back - although it seems to be not more than a plot device. We'll see.

The rest, Nick is chubby-face again. I thought the beard suited him well before he got this hideous porn look recently. It's hard to readjust to this, much younger-looking, Nick.

Colleen and her antics are so snoozeworthy. Get someone all those teen-twens and shipp them off to Hongkong please.

Overall, a blah episode. Not too bad but could have been much better. The ending was kinda cool. Nikki for town whore eh senator. LOL!

I got one hell of a Sheila vibe from Phyllis in the hall with Sharon and Brad. :lol: "Going anywhere Bradlee?" And Sharon just came in the hall all 3rd grade-like "You make me sick Phyllis." like Phyllis really cared. I loved the "I'm fresh out of barf bags" and her telling Sharon "There he goes. He's so sensative." :lol: Phyllis is getting a kick out for taunting Brad and especially Sharon. Taking Sharon's trip away from her just because she could was dirty though.

Not really because Jack and Phyllis weren't in a relationship when Phyllis and Nick were having their affair.

But I do infact think the reason Phyllis is blackmailing Brad is because she wanted him to vote Neil to the board and Sharon being the person Brad slept with was an added bonus.

Anyone else tired of Brad's smugly face? I used to like him but now every scene he is in makes me annoyed. This was the first time I watched the show in weeks and it seemed okay, but was rather boring.

And can anyone explain why Vicki doesn't drop kick Brad's ass to the moon?

^ I hate Brad Carlton. Hate. Him. I think Vikki (god help me) doesn't dump Brad because she loves him. Talk about needing a barf bag. I love Vikki, so this marriage to Brad is just pure torture to me. I wonder how long it's going to take JT to get to the truth.

Can JT get a life? Seriously the guy is a loser

Really HATING on Phyllis. The b-tch needs to go DOWN.

No she didnt. She and Jack werent together when she and Nick first hooked up. She did sleep with Jack once while she was with Nick, but they didnt reunite

If Brad had cheated on Victoria with someone else, Phyllis may have still blackmailed him simply to get that vote to put Neil on the board, however, since it's Sharon, it's a triple treat for Phyllis to mess with her, torment her and be a royal B!TCH to her....Phyllis is loving it.

Okay, on to my take on the show...What the F was up with Nikki's "Fart" face she was making when she was talking to Phyllis in front of Victor? It was straight up FUGLY :lol:

Sharon is a bitch and deserves whatever is coming to her. I love Phyllis and I think she has a right to get some revenge. For too long Sharon and her sanctimonious ass blasted Phyllis. It's time for Phyllis to be on top...just the way she likes it.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

      I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

      Newsom is a craven opportunist, but his comments today were exactly how better people need to handle Trump.
