Annie with chicken pox was initially lame to me - but her scenes with Julia are kinda funny. I'm just happy we are finally seeing the Wildwind gang together again, playing around, joking and playing poker. Good seeing Amanda. I just wish the writers didn't treat them like extras who show up once a week. I like the background music too.

Justin Bruening got a haircut - he looks great.

I could do without the Babe/Bianca scenes - although I do enjoy flashback scenes. They just really want Bianca/Babe to become the friends they were and bring this babyswitch story full circle. But anyway, I thought Miranda and Little A were supposed to be in bed anyway? I still don't like the new Little A.

I hope the mystery woman comes out of hiding - I don't want a long stalker storyline.

Love Adam - that's about it for now. I love how he is going to drastic measures to take our Krystal - no electricity on night 1. Night 2 will be no water...night 3 no food, until she LEAVES. haha

Ohhh Tad is all tied up. haha - I love Tad, but he deserves the experience of being tied up and tortured for just a little bit.

Today's show is so blah for me. The new little A seems so slooooooooow. I want the one that talked back NOW! The Bianca/Babe scenes are so contrived. Reminising about the good ole' days when they were BFFs. *gag*

Lily left Jonathan looking stupid when he came to the door and she told him she was there to see Aidan. He looks so hurt. I actually felt bad for him.

He does, which really concerns me - as I really don't want a Jonathan/Ava romance. I thought we saw Jonathan get over Lily and finally sort of solidify something with Amanda. Now it seems like the writers are backtracking and making Jonathan still have feelings for Lily and drop Amanda/Jonathan just as the Ava/Lily storyline starts. I'm excited about Aiden/Lily though - I always loved that friendship.

Spike, Butch, and Tank! haha - I loved that Zendall scene.

Adam - I'm loving this guy. And what was up with MEK using a fake country/twang accent during those scenes when Krystal was untying him? haha - it was weird and kind of funny.

Oh and of course they are finding creative ways for Julia to be hidden on the couch and behind a pillow....

Thank you forwarning me in advance about Bianca making googy eyes @ Babe...yet again.

I almost dread the Wildwind scenes too. It'sbeyond blasphemous that Jonathan gets to live there with no objections from Julia who practically rolled out the welcome mat.

I find Amanda to be rather useless; she's too boring to be Janet's daughter.

At least I have Adam to look forward to.

I actualy liked the little nod to history with the flashback to Miranda's birth. The babyswitch sl is one of AMC's biggest milestone moments. We could not have had a b-day for the two little rugrats without flashingback to the night of the storm. I know there are a lot of Babe haters here, but there was always something special about Eden and Alexa's interactions. I want to see them work at getting closer again.

The Kendall/Zack scene was great too. Why can't we have more of these character driven scenes? Where it doesn't really matter what is said, because it all comes off as so natural. I wish more episodes could have been like today.

That was too funny but what was even funnier is when Lily got home and just came out and told Barbara that she wants her to leave Pine Valley and she doesn't like her. And Barbara being the stupid b!tch she is asks Lily if she wants to go shopping like that's gonna make it all better.

I love that Lily hates Barbara, though I hope Babs sticks around PV. Susan Pratt fits in so well. I love her interactions with Sean too.

I am not a big fan of the Zoe/Zarf romance. If there is a definition of contrived, this is it. I hoped some day Liz Hendrickson comes back as Maggie and reclaims the woman she loves.

Haha - I agree. That was such a funny scene between Lily/Barbara. Lily: "I learned in Geometry that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. So I am taking a direct approach. I want you out of Pine Valley!!!" LOL

Good musical montage ending....

Love the previews - tomorrow looks great. Lily sees the mysterious stalker woman and asks her to come inside! haha - and then a naked Adam waking up during his Board meeting! hahaha - tomorrow looks great.

Is Bianca a bisexual now? From the onset, it seemed like she was attracted to a guy. Zoe/Zarf still strike me as a man...who happens to wear makeup.

I want Maggie back too. She was a bit of a tease, but she loved Bianca. It's stupid what a stone cold b*tch Bianca was to a woman who supported her through rape and loss of child but bestows so much forgiveness & understanding to others.

As much as I hate the fact Bianca forgave Babe, that scene with the flashbacks... I really enjoyed it. I agree with AMCHistory in saying it was a milestone moment for AMC. It is one of the most talked about storylines for AMC ever and to have Bianca, Babe and J.R along with the two kids in the same room... it brought it full circle.... I enjoyed J.R holding Miranda too that was sweet. I still have problems with Babe but those scenes today almost were needed.

I love the Wildwind gang. Sure its just for the backburnered characters but the interactions are funny and light hearted and the Annie chicken pox thing was sort of cute. I hated how they kept not showing her face then finally her with the white dots. Lily wanting to blackmail Barbara is so funny and then going back home to find Babs half drunk offering to take Lily shopping. Go Lily! Tell the B*tch how ya feel!

Zendall  with Spike and the lil' munchkin. Then making love. AMC rocks because of them. Enough with Hannah's nice hot heels though, I want to see her face! I think she debuts on the 28th.

Okay, so Annie was fine on Friday in her scenes with Ryan but now suddenly she has chicken pox?

The sexual banter between the Wildwind gang sounded like it was written by a junior high school student.

Jonathan is suddenly awkward around Lily, which can only mean he'll have feelings for her double. Why is he even still on this show?

Bianca/Babe were just stomach-churning. I was glad that JR ignored Zarfoe's advice and interrupted them.

Zzzzendull, yawn.

Sweet, honest Lily who cannot tell a lie wanted to blackmail Barbara!?!?

Adam's scheme to drive Krystal out of the mansion wasn't as bad as the rest of the episode, but I still don't get why he can't just kick the whore out. Unless I missed something, her name isn't on the deed so she has no legal rights and Adam should be able to have her escorted out by either the police or his own private security force.

    • In the current environment, while it's small, there is a crumb of good news: Apparently, San Antonio voted for a DEMOCRATIC mayor, Gina Ortiz, beating the "right-hand man" of Gov. Greg Abbott, former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5337199-gina-ortiz-jones-wins-san-antonio/
    • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.
