I fast forwarded through most of it in about 20 minutes. After seeing dumbass Ryan take a swing at the cops, I was like "this [!@#$%^&*] is ridiculous."

I'm just glad he was arrested. Ryan's been needing to be knocked down 20 pegs. He's thinking he's above the law, because the worshippers in Pine Valley tell him so.

The Green Mile Ryan

So the dufus does something stupid (what else is new with Ryan?) and punches a cop in the face and is now serving a little bit of time in jail and the worst part is the a$$ goblin gets Tad into trouble as well! Since when should Tad have to pay for your stupidity, St. Ryan of the Hypocrisy Tail? So now maybe there will be a lot of good come out of Ryan's temporary stay in jail and it will now be elevated to him walking the green mile and being executed but intead of electricity passed through him well just dump a bunch of poop all over him and then he says, "Smells like chicken" (thankfully he does know not to taste it). But that would be something if he just gets the death penalty and never bothers anyone with his sanctimonious pontificating and he is off to Neverland to get skivvied and shagged by Michael Jackson of the Monkey Hair Porcelain Face. Ahhhh a great day will come when Ryan finally dies either by lethal injection or being rolled off a Dynamite Kiddo Hill or suffocated by being sat on by Sally Struthers and then she says, "Oh I see said the blind man as he moved his fat a$$...bubble me up!"

I already know for a fact that Lily has worked about 3 days in a row this week ;) I hope you are right about the new writers too.

ROFL!! I knew it was only a matter of time before she let him know her true feelings. This alone is worth watching. Again, thanks for giving me the incentive to watch today's show. I hope to get to it a bit later on.

LMAO..If I can watch the show later tonight, I will put the clip on my YouTube site and post the link here

Ronald Guttman truly is Alexander Cambias. He is just memorizing to watch. The lines he is given as well. I just love him.

He was truly amazing with Zach. How he relived his death and totally lost it. Wow. He is a psycho but you sort of half felt for him there.

Poor Kendall. :(

The only good part for me was the Erica/Barbera stuff bc I loved the slap. Barbera is a cheap imitation of Erica. She comes off as childish and immature but whereas Erica can pull it off, Barbera just looks stupid and annoying. This isnt even a fun rivalry bc she's so pathetic. Bring back Brooke for Erica to spar with

Her best one in a while!

Lately Pod Erica has been in hibernation. Ever since Erica slept with Jeff.... she has been on a total rampage. I guess after all these years he still isn't much of a lover by Kane standards ;)

Go Erica!

Dear God, I love that woman. First of all, I haven't seen live Erica (watched the Erica Jeff nastiness, but my eyes were covered therough 95% of it) in over a year and she is so gorgeous. That hair, and that outfit. OMG....she's hot too. Hehe. ;)

And that slap, she just like FU'd her PODdom, and belted that b*tch. It was beautiful. Eeeeeeeeeeee. God, that was perfect. Welcome Back Erica! Girl, you have been missed. :D

    • All the time they spent trying to make viewers feel sorry for Chad only for him to not even last that long. I wonder if they knew Richard Burgi was going so quickly. You're right about Josie replacing Cheryl. On paper, this should have made sense, given all the ties Josie had to the canvas, but I did prefer Cheryl. There was something very synthetic about Alexandra Wilson.
    • So true...Hackney might have had a story on FC with Richard being an old lover of his, but reveals herself to be a Cartel member and blackmails Richard with something into doing her dirty work  LOL. But of course Richard had his hands full with the double trouble sisters Ms. Jones and Ms. Braxton that season.

    • Cat herself will be a stumbling block all her own as she vowed to Chad to stay away from him, thus redeeming her of her crime morally. Classic DAYS would have them gazing longingly at each other at Doug's Place or Blondie's, while Liz is serenading the room with a song aptly chosen to represent their feelings of emotional turmoil.
    • From what I just recently watched, they were setting her up to go into future stories. She was Emmy nomination worthy in the material I saw. If some viewers did not like her, the character could have been rehabilitated after that sick storyline. It feels like they destroyed a character for fun and then tossed her to the curb. Spencer had chemistry with everyone. I'm just retroactively angry on Spencer's behalf.  You're right about how Cheryl was often forgotten and pushed aside and I would take Cheryl over Josie. I think soaps need characters like Cheryl. Characters like Josie are way too common. Josie always got on my nerves.
    • CBS was back in third place in 1994/95. That was the season CBS lost NFL broadcasting rights which also cost them several established affiliates in major media markets. 1995 CBS was sold to Westinghouse and Les Moonves arrived. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox, but it was an epic failure and CBS was once again in third place.
    • I tend to think that Chad will actually listen to Jen (this time). And that will be the next stumbling block in their relationship, which will open the possibilities for Cat to seek another member of their love triangle... To iterate my earlier thought, I am also not a fan of the person Melissa Reeves, but the character of Jennifer looks so chic this week, especially in comparison to Hope (and Gabi).  That blunt haircut is a winner.
    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. Their connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters. All this talk of Jennifer being in the wrong regarding Cat is absurd. Jennifer is not being villainized in any way, shape, or form, she's just being allowed to actually be human, which adds odds to the obstacle of Chad and Cat eventually getting together. All inner conflict. Keep it coming!
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
    • My hunch is what you've described. JFP is likely back working on transitioning the show to a new studio and embracing new technology for its production model.
