Another sign of the budget crunch...

We haven’t even been getting new clothes lately. We’ve been rewearing old outfits.

Well that is a budget cut that they should just live with...I would rather see the vets getting airtime, or past favorites returning, than seeing the characters in new and expensive clothes..

Did I not suggest in the other Days budget problem threads they cut down on their wardrobe? It's insane that soaps spend thousands of dollars on clothes worn "once"

Yeah, I would much rather see them wearing clothes more than once. More sense of reality.

Re-wearing old clothes? That's what they're doing at Days? No new clothes coming in... just the same old stuff? In the words of Roman Brady... "What da hell?!"

I mean, don't get me wrong. It's a good way of saving money. But damn it, it's just sad that it's even come to this point. Because honestly, when you look at the big picture, wardrobe costs are probably small potatoes compared to actor and writer salaries (keep in mind that they wear the same outfit for several days as soap days tend to last a week or more).

Damn you, NBC! Damn you for dooming this show to fail by giving it such a "bottom of the barrel" budget. Assmonkeys!

The clothes are no big deal. It adds realism if anything, like others said.

FF is so going to ask for her job back again. She wants Days as a fallback and that interview proves it. I hope Corday tells her what he told Kirsten and doesn't take her back if they choose to recast or if she calls him.

In Farah's defense, she decided to leave back when JER was writing, and all she did for months was debate telling shawn the secret...and before that tell rex the secret...Under Hogan she's actually had some exciting things to do, and obviously a variety in scripts..

Well if she'd gotten it right maybe they'd have let her move on...

No, I liked Farah back when she was the sidekick to Storms. She really shone in that role, and I hope she finds another like it. Best of luck to her.

Also, I'm shocked that she loves the hairstylist so much. I'd always assumed that was a relationship fueled by hate.

I'm glad she's gone now, but I actually liked this interview. lol at Eric filling his car with clothes. :D

Agreed on both counts. I really liked how she set the record straight on what was said between she and the Days brass. It makes sense that she would want them to know that, if Mimi were ever to come back into the picture, she wouldn't rule out returning. Also makes sense that she would want to pass along a message for Hogie- she and Rachel Melvin should be on their hands and knees kissing his feet for turning their characters into themselves, thus making them watchable again. Melvin is actually FINALLY starting to win me over now (it's still unfortunate that Mandy Musgrave was her predecessor because she was TRULY Mini-Billie).

Good luck to you Farrah! And !gulp! I actually probably wouldn't mind Meems returning someday. As long as we get this realMimi, not liarMimi.
