Prolly. He would be great @ B&B and I could see that more so than GL. I don't know if he would jump coast you know. Plus, B&B needs a strong older leading male character for Stephanie/Jackie/Pamela/Eric to be involved with.

The first grown up Ed was Robert Gentry (who most best remember as Ross Chandler on AMC), but the longest Ed was Mart Hulswit.

He was my favorite Ed. But from what I read he wasn't hunk material so he was replaced when they wanted to make Ed more of a sex symbol. They brought in Peter Simon and then Richard Van Vleet and then back to Peter Simon.

Most associate Peter Simon with the role even though I think Mart Hulswit is the one that most old time fans associate with the role.

I disagree Josh. For most of us the most notable Ed to a large generation is Mart Hulswit.

Here's the run down in years for the adult Eds:

Robert Gentry (April 4th, 1966 to April 25th, 1969; September 26th, 1997 to July 7th. 1998)

Mart Hulswit (September 24th, 1969 to August 28th, 1981)

Peter Simon (September 1st, 1981 to September 11th, 1984; April 2nd, 1986 to June 21st, 1996; May 9th, 2002 to May 14th, 2004)

Richard Van Vleet (September 24th, 1984 to March 21st, 1986)

Mart Hulswit has 12 years as Ed and defined the character of Ed for many.

Peter Simon and Mart Hulswit (in clips of him I've seen of course) were good and I would love to have either back. As for SD, I totally don't believe this. GL's budget could never afford someone like Damon. Hell, if they can't get some former GL-ers to come back fulltime, how are they EVER going to pay SD. Plus I agree with someone else that said that SD would make a better Mike than Ed.
