I LOVE Bo and was still furious with him on Friday's episode. But I think a lot of his anger with Chelsea right now is coming from his own guilt; I don't think he's completely forgiven himself for all his own actions from the past year, so how can he forgive Chelsea? That's the only way I can justify his actions, especially after Hope talked to him. I do think Hope is somehow going to be used to resolve this and bring the family back together.

I'm so sorry Keith, but Drake plays Roman in our blog. But, I see your point, and it sure is a classic. I stil remember Bo coming into the police station with both Marlena and Roman standing there and him presenting the gift of a stolen microwave to them as a wedding present. Wonderful!

I get Bo being pissed off at Chelsea and maybe even telling her (again) that this is the last straw. I just wish they wouldn't make him stupid about it, especially after he'd finally gotten his brain back. It's clear that Chelsea has been making some real efforts to turn her life around, and if it weren't for her, Hope and the baby would both be god knows where with Patrick, and maybe even dead. In addition, he knows Patrick is lying in his statement since he never once mentions EJ Wells. Why does it never occur to him Patrick could be lying about this?

I don't mind conflict and people acting on their worst impulses, just make it believable.

I have one major problem with Bo about this whole thing.....

Why now, after all this time, and all the times that he said to Hope and anyone else who would listen that PL was lying on him, would he believe him now?

NOW he's telling the truth?! I think he's just using this as an easy excuse to dump Chelsea because he thinks it's what Hope wants. That why she needs to tell him that he is acting like an ass, and for him to find his daughter and try to make amends, like she told him Friday.

This is such a lame way of creating conflict. Patrick's not even here, and now Bo believes him? Unless this is leading to something else in the redemption of Chelsea or Hope and Chelsea becoming a strong stepdaughter/stepmom team, right now it's crap.

What a boring episode. I FFed through EVERYTHING. Literally. I stopped it at the last five minutes to see if it would be a cliffhanger friday but it wasn't. This is why I believe Sheffer is worse than JER. Even with JER's far out plots, I was never this bored with the show.

Thanks! I just wish I could find a picture where he looks TRULY evil. I had to darken that picture just to make him look a LITTLE sinister, lol. I'd give anytihng to have a screencap from Friday's episode -- so I can truly capture Bo in all his [!@#$%^&*] glory! And to have an updated pic of Chelsea too. It'd be great to have that piece of the banner match the conflict from Friday.

Oh, I didn't mean to offend you. I just wanted to add an anti-hot-for-Abby comment to make the board be more fair and balanced of ALL views.

(Honestly, someone thought I was trying to rain on everyone's parade in the off-topic lounge for writing an anti-"Chunky Pam" post! It's called difference of opinion, not personal attack, guys!)

I thought it was one of the best of the week. I just loved the conversations. There is something so nice about characters talking about what's happening and figuring things out. I was literally SQUEEEEing during the Abby/Max convo.

But 'tis my opinion.

I agree that Sheffer really needs to bring back The Cliffhanger and some excitement. However, that is an easy fix.

Oh Bo was an ass!! Just caught DAYS on Soapnet this morning!! He is such a jerk and to throw the Zac thing up, I know it is horrible, but he played a role in all of it as well.

Blake Berris is still a little hottie, mchottie!!! And it is amazing what good writing will do for a character, a'la Chelsea she is watchable!!

Bo is an ass. I can't believe the way he just ripped into Chelsea. What is wrong with this man? he didn't reserve an ounce of doubt or compassion. I wanted Chelsea to revert to form and take a chunk out of him.

Mabby were really cute.

I liked the Shelle story. Although, I'm confused as to how Phillip thinks he can barter Willow's kid for Claire. They're both Shawn's. He needs to go find his real kid.

    • Roger's return storyline may have been silly but Roger's return was what lead to GL's last golden era.  It was the combination of Roger's return and Robert Calhoun becoming EP that got GL to finally hit it's stride after some really bad years. It will always disappoint me that the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run didn't reflect the quality of the show.
    • He also gave some of the best episodes, like the episodes surrounding Doug's death. The problem with Days was that Ron had a horrible vision from he top. I don't feel the same for MVJ and nothing that has happened in all these months suggests she doesn't have a handle on the show. Now if it becomes an issue I'll acknowledge it, but I'm not seeing it so far.
    • Jean Hackney was awful and that lead to Ben's exit story which sucked. I liked Ben/Val together. Val's love for Ben was that of a grown woman moving on with her life and Ben's love for Val made him willingly decide to raise another man's children as his own.
    • It wasn't just a GL thing, it was an 80s thing. Opulent party scenes on soaps were very big back then. Even in regular episodes where people are just going to dinner they're dressed up like they're going to see royalty.
    • Just started the May 27 episode and first thing I see is that Willow got an ugly haircut since hte last time i watched   I dont have the context for how everthing went down but I know its all Lulu's fault which make her a bish for what she did to Gio
    • I'm pretty sure he was. But point taken. GL really had a thing for masked and costumed balls/parties in the '80's. Everyone looks fabulous, but those poor costume designers.
    • Still here ^^ Come on Prime Video, it's due to bring it back!
    • Got through the eighth season, and it was... painful.

    • I agree 100% with both you and Mitch64.  Soaps have been going further and further off-course since 1981. TPTB just don't have a fundamental understanding of what makes soap fans so loyal. I'd love to be on a writing team with both of you.  Maybe we could put together a real soap opera, and show people what its all about...
    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary Journal headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
