If the actors start to bail due to breach of contract, lawsuits are sure to follow. This may be a passion to us but it's business to an actor who has a family to support. Corday is screwing these people and they will only be able to take so much. Unless he starts firing the less popular characters and stops bringing back others, he will not be able to pay those already on the canvas who have guarantees. The show is imploding before our eyes and Ken Corday is to blame.

PS: IF you want to go read what was said at SNS it was copy and pasted at Soapcity so you are okay to go there:

I've posted with GeorgiaLass over there, and she's... well. I shouldn't say anything. :)

Mama always taught me, if you don't have nothin' nice to say...

Personally, I hope John stays in a coma until 2009. Any relief from his relentless eyebrow and "I smell funky ass" air sniff is a welcome relief to me!

And my mama always taught me to stand up for your friends and GeorgiaLass knows what she's talking about. This isen't some glitch, it's been rumored for several years now that DAYS has had to cut down on money, but never like this.

I didn't dispute her reliability.

As I've said before, NBC has doomed the show to fail.

They've given it no budget, nothing to work with. The writing is on the wall, it's been on the wall for a long while now. I'm past the point of caring. It's done in 2009 anyway -- what's two years early?

Don't say that!!!

And yes, Corday is an idiot for forcing Sheffer to backburner the supercouples, all for money.

He's an idiot. NBC is a bunch of assholes for giving them no budget.

Whatever.

And everytime the vets get on the backburner for more than 2 weeks, there's outcry of "the budget is gone!" This does go hand in hand with the "spumor" of Drake not working through all of February and into March...

Pfft. I'm over it all.

NBC has doomed it to fail, end of story.

To people who've been loyal for years and years, it's a chance to see their couples end up together and happy. J&M, B&H, S&K, S&B, L&S fans wanna see the couples they've rooted for have their happily ever after.

Where was that "outcry" about money in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 when the DHs were backburnered again and again (only to be brought back sooner than planned because of an outcry from the viewers)?

This isen't just NBC's fault, it's Corday's too. He thinks if he brings on enough new, cheap actors people will watch, instead of taking a chance and spending the money on the ones who are expensive but that people care about.
