I just read an article at Yahoo! News about this.

Anne Meara (AMC's ex-Peggy Moody) and her husband Jerry Stiller are getting stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Very cool!

Anne played Peggy on AMC back in the 90's - she was Gillian's grandma (right?) and was living in Wildwind. She was a fun character and I loved her scenes with Gillian, Ryan, and Edmund the most!

And I had NO idea - but she is Ben Stiller's MOM! Learn something new everyday! haha

She wasn't Gillian's Grand ma ma, but was connected to Dimitri I think. Anne Meara played Peggy Moody.

Yes, Peggy was the maid and Edmund's surrogate mother. She was being drugged at the nursery home Dimitri had placed her in. She was there for Ed and Maria's wedding and their commitment ceremony a year later!

Peggy wasn't related to Dimitri or Edmund. She was the nanny when Edmund was little, and Dimitri hired her at Wild Wind as the cook/maid.

I remember her, she used to always refree erica/marias fights at wildwind, thats back when wildwind was the hotspot.

Please, before any of that she was the DIVINE Veronica Rooney on "Archie Bunker's Place," the spinoff of "All in the Family."

I flove her and her hubby. They are TV royalty and go waay back to the MaryTylerMoore days. And they managed to bring forth a new generation of FUN without some pathetic loser drug drama ...

I've watched Stiller and Meara perform since the early days of stand up comedy and they were so funny! They both have a long list of credits, including their son Ben. I know I am old, but this makes me feel ancient.
