Too bad they didn't show more of the acutal fight before they went throught the window. As I understand it, Stephen and James did their own stunts in those scenes - which I assume means flying through the window.

He left because at that point he was going to bow out and maintain his dignity. He decided to re-enlist figuring he had nothing else left but to give service to his country and he ended up getting badly injured. During all that time in recovery, I think he thought about all he has lost and decided to stop being a pushover and change. I also think that he had no intentions of going after Claire but since Victor began the pursuit, all in an effort to aid his son after the hell he had been through, I think he became convinced that he should go after Claire as he stood a chance of getting her with Victor on his side. That and he could get his revenge on the man that had his wife's heart and now has the child he beleived was his. The motivation is all there. The fact that he is going about it pretty much the long way is what is making the story. You have to have someone in the wrong and in the right.

No doubt about it. Definitely stupid!

Ive put some thought into the idea and can't decide one way or another. What do you all think? If it did come down to it where Phillip got complete custody of Claire, would Belle leave Shawn and go back to Phillip, to continue being apart of Claire's life?

Excellent episode today. The Shawn/Belle on the run is still super silly, but going with the flow, the actors are doing a fairly good job, except JKJ. I don't believe in him as Philip at all. He is too insecure, shrill and out of control to be a strong, headstrong, take-serious man. Kyle Brandt could have played this part superbly and won gazillion fans.

Steve/Kayla/EJ were beyond compare today. I was thrilled to see them deliver so beautifully, believably and it was more like a movie than just reading lines like MBE has seemed to be doing up until today. Intriguing and sophisticated. Loved, loved them.

Sami/Lucas/Kate. Gee, I used to enjoy Kate and now I feel like hissing at her and telling her to stop fooling with her face, her lips, her earrings, whatever and be still for a change. Sami just has to tell Lucas the truth about the rescue and the baby or this story is going to blow up, I fear.

The ending was the best I've seen in the almost four years since 8-2004.

Excuse me, but why are people telling Kenny he's wrong about not liking Jay? (And YES, people are saying "WRONG.") Get off his back. He has an opinion and it isn't the same as yours. Get over it.

And as for the majority of fans enjoying Jay, I'd like to see proof (note: there is none) of that besides your "feeling" from around the boards. Go to Coffeerooms and no one likes what's happening; go to SON and you've got a Pollyanna convention. Some do, some don't.

Thank you, Andre. This is a problem I've seen in so many Days threads over the years here. If you enjoy it, you enjoy. If someone else disagrees, why waste the energy to try to convince someone that they're wrong about it being bad for one reason or another? It's so much more enjoyable (heh) to agree to disagree after you share your side and they've shared theirs. JMO.

Because disagreeing and arguing a bit in a respectful way is fun. If everyone just posts their feelings and leaves it at that, the threads get a bit boring and don't go on very long. As long as it's done respectfully, we can all debate back and forth and just agree to disagree. It's all part of good discussion and debate.

Andre, I am well aware other boards don't like alot of what is happening but alot of that isn't JKJ's performance. Alot of that is Bo/Hope and John/Marlena fans wanting screentime for their couples. The on the run story is not the problem. The problem is it's on way too much right now for their taste and I can understand that. I have seen very little negative response to JKJ's performance. Alot of that could be due to people loving him the first time around or could be because there were many who didn't like Brandt. Whatever the case, it seems a good majority likes him in the role right now. I'm not worried about what other boards say because alot of that is fanbase driven. You have fanbases that are even jealous of each other when one supercouple gets more airtime, like Steve/Kayla are getting now.

I am always one to agree to disagree. That doesn't mean I won't post and say why I disagree with you. It's all part of the discussion. I will never belittle someone's opinion. I am well aware that most times you can't change someone's mind about something and that is fine. Everyone is different. All I am saying is that different opinions are welcome. Part of the fun of these threads is disagreeing and going back and forth. As long as everyone is respectful, it's all good.

    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
