Where was Scott today? Where was Robert? His daughter has been shot and he is nowhere to be found? There are a lot of holes in this story that are pissing me off.

And you can't tell me that there isn't another way to open the vault. There has to be. But Stupid Sam had to screw it up.

One good thing, Lucky looks smokin hot!

Skye has sunk to a new low with her constant defending and only protecting of Lorenzo. Having the nerve to defend him to Patrick while his girlfriend lay dying due to a gun shot.

Also could she care even less about all the hostages? Damn, Jason cared more for the Q's than Skye.

I'm very much enjoying it. I would like to see Luke and Robert Scorpio become heroes in this as well. My big disappointment is that once again it focuses on the bad guys and makes them heroes instead of the good guys.

GH is doing a really good job with the storyline.

I agree that Robert and Anna should be there, but I don't think that they are still on the show. The last time we saw Robert was around Luke & Laura's wedding. They didn't even give him a send off, they just stopped writing for him.

The one thing that I am pleased out (barely), is that when Alan dies it is not because he has been arrested for Rick Webber's murder. I had read that he was going to be arrested in Feb. for sweeps and then have a heart attack. So at least they are not trashing his charcter the way they trashed the actor!!!

I wonder if Skye is going to feel guilty about Alan's death?

I didn't watch today's episode just yet, but Thursday's episode was soooo good! The game was sooo freaky and scary and I loved it! But when he shot Robin out of nowhere, I jumped in my seat. I mean, I knew she was getting shot, but I didn't know it would be on that eppy!

I am liking GH and it has my attention! :D

Yup.

Like I've always said about GH's stunts... yes, they're stunts. But as long as they're entertaining, that's all that matters. Entertainment is the bottom line. GH can't be faulted about doing their annual "Emmy Stunt." I mean, other soaps could jump on the bandwagon... there's no rule saying they can't.

I always watch GH during these big events. It's just frustrating to me that in most cases, it all comes out of nowhere. Like, the stunts are never something that is built towards over the period of several weeks or months. It's just all very random. Then, while it's happening, it's entertaining as hell. And when it's over with, the storylines that were "put on pause" over the course of the stunt are picked up where they left off and it returns to same ole, same ole. That's annoying for any soap.

In the moment, though, it's damn entertaining. And even if it only lasts for two or three weeks... those are two or three weeks of good eatin'. It might involve characters I hate, but the story is exciting, and story is the bottom line. They certainly can't be faulted for it. I just wish they were better at the "before and after." They have the 'during' down pat, but they could use some help with the buildup and the fallout. I mean, the only person who dies will be as the result of something unrelated to the gunplay or the explosion, LoL. Or so I've read...

I'm loving the action, but I wish there were bigger after-effects to make the action more enhanced.

I flove Jane Elliot. Traci is one character who can never bore me. The only one who is bugging me is Sonny. I wish MB was putting more effort into his acting for this story. His quivering lips at the end of the show looked so fake. I can't wait to see how they all get out though. I'm not reading any spoilers for this.

Stunt or not, I am loving it! At least something is going on... I am pretty much spoiler free for this one, so it's exciting... :D

DAYS is pretty much blah for me now and YR.. well, I don't really like any of the storylines...

    • That's what Julie Hanan Carruthers is doing for BTG at the new studio in Atlanta, but JHC is credited.
    • I remember when the whole Missy Reeves controversy started in 2012.  She tweeted support of a business that had made homophobic statements. Greg Rikaart (who was on Y&R back then) publicly called her out on it, but was willing to reach out and speak with her. Article here: https://greginhollywood.com/greg-rikaart-talks-about-his-twitter-war-with-fellow-soap-star-melissa-reeves-over-anti-gay-chick-fil-a-73139 That being said, ten years later, on DAYS, in 2022, when they had they double wedding of Leo/CraigWesley and Gwen/Xander, Jack and Jennifer came to the wedding.  At that time, Missy Reeves was only intermittently available for DAYS. Jennifer was living "in Boston" and Cady McClain and Missy were each intermittently appearing as Jennifer, on the specific occasions when the show required a Jennifer to appear. Missy wasn't on contract and she could have said no. But she chose to appear as Jennifer for the gay wedding of Greg Rikaart's character.   So... I mean... I would assume they reached a détente behind-the-scenes. Missy still has her belief system but there's that.
    • That was one of the best grandslam finals.  Alcaraz comes all the way back down 2 sets to 0, and three match points in the 3rd set, to win it in a 5th set tie-break.  And the quality of play was excellent - so many great shots.  What a battle!
    • Indeed. I may try to watch it in full sometime, but not anytime soon... Mark played Sean Baxter for a few episodes when Courtney married Andy. Burke was either on Broadway or at OLTL at that time, I suppose.
    • Well, Josh was a horndog. LOL Yep. It was one of the first really weird things Reva did with her PPD. She became obsessed with the idea that Dylan and Sam should get married. Sam was only 17, and needed her parent's permission. Reva helped them leave town so they could go to a neighboring state where Sam was old enough. Ross, Billy and Josh stopped them, then Sam went to India to try and persaude Justin. Reva followed her and didn't tell Josh she was going. While Reva was gone, Josh advertised for nannies, and Harley applied. He ended up hiring someone else. But when Reva returned, she hired Harley because (in her weird mental state) she wanted someone she could trust with the kids (because she feared Josh was trying to get rid of her and that Vanessa wanted the children.). After Reva starts treatment, she asks Harley to stay until she's stronger because she's good with the kids. At the party, Reva starts going off the rails, insulting Justin and Josh hauls her to a private dining room to ask WTF. Reva starts confronting him about the "affair" with Vanessa, and he realizes she is weird. He locks her in the dining room and frees Mindy and Van from the ladies room (where Reva has locked them in). Van starts telling him that Reva attacked her and needs help.  Reva escapes out the window of the dining room and goes back to the party, climbs onto a table and starts a striptease. Josh gets her to stop, takes her home and after filling Ed in, decides to go to the doctor the next day. Reva then takes off and spends days running around town, coming on to a guy she thinks is Billy, Billy, Hamp, Frank and Roger.  Roger takes her to his apartment and takes nude pictures of her, which he tries to blackmail Billy with. He wants the deed to the land the Towers is on in exchange for them. (Billy had been left the deed by a sweet old lady who lost her home in the 5th street fire. Roger had stolen the deed from her before she died. After Roger took those pics of Reva, she saw him hide them, and took an envelope from the hiding place. She didn't realize she'd taken the deed and not the pictures.)  Anyway, Billy and Vanessa trick Roger into burning the pictures, claim the deed and at the Towers opening reveal that Billy owns the land and therefore the Towers. That's what led to Roger and Alex's breakup and Roger and Mindy's affair. Mark Lewis was on ATWT? 1986 is not a good year, storywise. No bueno. Muy no bueno.
    • All the time they spent trying to make viewers feel sorry for Chad only for him to not even last that long. I wonder if they knew Richard Burgi was going so quickly. You're right about Josie replacing Cheryl. On paper, this should have made sense, given all the ties Josie had to the canvas, but I did prefer Cheryl. There was something very synthetic about Alexandra Wilson.  I suppose even if she did have some fans they were just so used to getting rid of people left and right, so she was more collateral damage. As you said above I do wonder what the plans were for Peggy Lazarus. I think AWHP mentioned her once telling Peter that Peggy Lazarus wasn't her real name. Maybe she would have been another Carl moll... Rebecca Hollen never did get her due in her soap roles.
    • So true...Hackney might have had a story on FC with Richard being an old lover of his, but reveals herself to be a Cartel member and blackmails Richard with something into doing her dirty work  LOL. But of course Richard had his hands full with the double trouble sisters Ms. Jones and Ms. Braxton that season.

    • Cat herself will be a stumbling block all her own as she vowed to Chad to stay away from him, thus redeeming her of her crime morally. Classic DAYS would have them gazing longingly at each other at Doug's Place or Blondie's, while Liz is serenading the room with a song aptly chosen to represent their feelings of emotional turmoil.
    • From what I just recently watched, they were setting her up to go into future stories. She was Emmy nomination worthy in the material I saw. If some viewers did not like her, the character could have been rehabilitated after that sick storyline. It feels like they destroyed a character for fun and then tossed her to the curb. Spencer had chemistry with everyone. I'm just retroactively angry on Spencer's behalf.  You're right about how Cheryl was often forgotten and pushed aside and I would take Cheryl over Josie. I think soaps need characters like Cheryl. Characters like Josie are way too common. Josie always got on my nerves.
    • CBS was back in third place in 1994/95. That was the season CBS lost NFL broadcasting rights which also cost them several established affiliates in major media markets. 1995 CBS was sold to Westinghouse and Les Moonves arrived. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox, but it was an epic failure and CBS was once again in third place.
