ATWT: Tuesday Discussion

Today's show was better. But after yesterday's show it was not hard to do. The highlight had to be seeing Luke and hint/glimpse of a storyline coming up. The Susan/Emily/Tom scenes were good as well. The rest was the same old.

And Brad must go! There is no need for this character.

I agree the highlights were Luke and Susan/Tom/Emily, Emily made me cry today, so that right there made the show good for me, anytime they can make me cry it is good. I agree with you about the rest of it the Gwen/Will scenes are getting old fast, I think they repeated the same lines about 5 times on today's show, lol. I know not many people are going to join me in saying that Emily's storyline looks promising, but it looks like it might be, key word as always being "looks".

I agree Brad needs to go, either that or get a different actor, I heard all the warnings about Austin Peck but never in my worse dreams did I think an actor could be as bad as him, I can see why they have him shirtless all the time, that is about the only appeal Peck has to offer, it certainly is not acting. and BTW I don't really think he is that good looking either.

ATWT should be above hiring a less talented actor for a useless role just for his muscles. But a las, it isn't.

Seeing Luke and the Snyders made the show better for me. At least Luke was acknowledged today. They will go somewhere with the school stuff but not a bashing I don't think.

Vienna gets way too much airtime.

I sobbed at the Daniel and Emily scenes. I just felt horrible for Emily. Now I AM an Emily fan, admittedly, and I know she's done some horrible things, but I just felt terrible for her, that everyone seems to just be like "suck it up Emily" about Daniel going away. And for her, that's one top of losing baby Jenny, losing Paul, losing Hal...

It was great to see Susan as well!

What makes Austin Peck look so bad is that they are putting him in scenes right off with truly great actors. I kind of like him with Vienna because I don't think she can act that well either.

But in scenes with Michael Park and then with Martha Byrne, Van Hansis, Jon Hensley and the like - he can't keep up. He really sticks out like a sore thumb.

I thought he had gotten better toward the end of his run on Days this time, but he is not bringing it on ATWT at all.

I only enjoy when he has his shirt off and is standing there not saying anything.

If they wanted a hunk, there are so many actors out that they look just as good and can act.

Vienna is much-better with Henry. I don't understand why the writers can't give him a storyline of his own. He's always playing sidekick to Katie or Emily or some annoying character. I can tolerate Vienna. The actress isn't that strong, but if they keep her around for comic relief, I think she'd be good.

Tom and Margo sending Daniel to boarding school? Is he that much of a hassle? I know that Emily is a bad mom, but I think the whole thing is a little extreme.

Lily and Faith's storyline does bother me. The actress does play a bratty Faith really well, but I think it's really unsettling that they just hired her because of the way she looks.

Wow, Adam is so annoying! I really can't stand him. I still don't understand why he hates Will, or why he seems to not like Casey much either. He needs to calm down. ATWT needs to stop re-casting characters and then giving them complete 180s in their personalities. (Same w/ Brad).

Everyone wonders about the little girl portraying Faith, but hello! What's this saying to Martha Byrne? "Uh...we realize you just had a baby, but you really need to lose weight". I can only imagine they're making her exercise and eat less or something so she gets skinnier and the s/l is more "realisitic".

And I'm sorry but I just cant let this recent SORAS obsession go....Why didn't they cast Natalie as a 10 year old? Instead, Faith is the ten year old. So now instead of (the way it should be) Faith, who's older than Natalie, who's one year older than Sage....it's Faith and Sage are the same age & Natalie is the youngest. Idiots!

IDIOTS!!

I used to rush back to the dorms just to watch this show but now, I miss it every day. I think the last episode I saw in full was like a week and a half ago and that was only one day that I watched. Every now and then, I'll catch little snippets. But now I've gotten to the point where I just don't watch anymore. This show has become such a trainwreck.

I think Faith is supposed to be about 12. I can buy Sage and Nat (from what I've seen) as about the same age.

I don't worry about Martha because she's an adult. And honestly, I don't think she looks any different now than she did before her last pregnancy. (If I were her, I'd be relieved not to have to wear her brown-hued wardrobe she had before anyway...LOL) She can whip off her slightly baggy sweater at the end of the day and know she's not battling those last few pounds.

And speaking of clothing...that was the least hooker-ish outfit Emily's ever worn...and she gets picked up? LOL...

I think they had Martha wear some baggy clothes right after she returned from maternity leave, making her look heavier than she really is. She's now wearing more form fitting clothes (like the red top she wore on Tuesday's show), and it looks like she's "magically" lost weight.
