Rosie O'Donnel looking to leave View for solo show

I saw that and was shocked. I'll die if she leaves "The View." She's incredible on that show. And honestly? This solo gig IS a gimmick. If it's just the wrong set or wrong lighting, even if it's her, the show WON'T work. "The View," meanwhile, is on FIRE. She should stay with the sure thing.

I wonder if she's still getting her Nip/Tuck spinoff? I hope so!

Like always, I am in the monority, but I  Rosie and always will

Isn't Babs reported to have said to Donalds at a dinner party that Rosie will be gone by summer?

Maybe there was some truth to it.

I like Rosie too and always have. She speaks up for what she believes in.... I support her fully in this Trump war. She is the only reason The View is watchable......

I hope it's not true.

And if it is, The Donald took her comment out of context. Surely Babs would have said it with glee. After all, if Ro leaves, "The View" is DONE.

The show lasted long before she arrived, and I hardly think her leaving will ruin it.

The show had pretty much no buzz before she came, and I remember it battling with "Port Charles" for a low ranking in the ratings, at one point. Rosie, do you realize, has raised the ratings by a considerable percentage. (I hestitate to mention a number because frankly I forgot). It's HUGE now, though. It's buzzed about every week, consistently, and the ratings are at ALL TIME highs.

The show can't afford to lose Ro.

This was probably her plan from the beginning. Get tons of exposure, and then bail out to make her "big" come back.

Oh, I so hope that IS NOT the case.

What a sneaky one!

I have enjoyed Rosie on The View as well. I think if she does leave it will hurt the talk show. Disney/ABC should have signed her for longer than a year!
