According to Passions' Music Supervisor, the executive producers are meeting with NBC executives this week in NYC to discuss the future of Passions.

THANK YOU!!!

If they can go through all this for Passions, they can for Days too instead of condemning it to death

Since the last airdate on NBC is September 7, 2007...I wonder when the deadline will be for finding a new platform if indeed executives are pursuing it seriously.

Its not NBC's place to look for a new home for DAYS if it cancels it (and that's a long way away if they decide too). DAYS is in no way owned by the network, while Passions is. That said, IF and its a big IF JER can finish up all the storylines, I'd rather it just end on Sept. 7, rather than see a watered down version on cable or the internet.

That's the whole point. There's no reason NBC should even be considering cancelling DAYS. But apparently they've already made up their minds...

I can't believe I just saw this.

Nice scoop. Thanks!

Any update? And how in the world did you get in touch or find out about this?

Are the NBC execs talking to the FOX network execs?

FOX would be perfect

With the new addition of The Morning Show, I wonder if FOX is ready to take on soaps?

A poster at CR has been in contact with the music supervisor.

Here's an excerpt of what she posted

This is from Paul Antonelli, Music Supervisor at Passions. I email him from time to time and wanted to share his comments regarding the show...

Thank you for those wonderfully kind words, Crista. You’re right, it ain’t over til it’s over. Some of our big brass has headed out to New York for the week to discuss the future of “Passions”, so with any luck they’ll be able to find another platform for us.
