Firstly, you can't break your nose and not be hospitalized. It's a huge health risk!

Secondly, oh yeah. I forgot how the idols sing with their fav musicians in the finale now. I like that. I can't wait! There were some great performances last year.

Thirdly, JORDIN IS GOING TO ROCK, ROCK, ROCK AN XTINA SONG!!!! This is going ot be AWESOME! If there is one person who can sing Xtina, it's Jordin. And Fighter is that fresh, angry age that I love from Jordin.

Lastly, I really can't wait to see Blake sing his last song. I hope it's as fish out of water as I am seeing in my head.

And I did not like Blake singing Maroon 5 because he basically just imitated them and was very unoriginal. He cannot be original with songs unless he beat boxes in them, and that got old in March.

She probably snorted some bad cocaine and now her nose looks all fucked up. Of course, she can't come right out and admit what she did, so she's coming up with the good ol' fashioned broken nose excuse, LoL

The only rock song that Jordin did well was "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar. The Bon Jovi week was incredibly week, so I don't have high hopes for "Fighter" which is not only a rock song, but a difficult one at that.

Blake sucked with Maroon 5 last time, and he'll suck with Maroon 5 this time. What a safe song! I can sing that song half asleep and sound decent. As for the Bon Jovi song, he suuuucked with it last time. Of course, his little fangirls (and fanboys!) ate it up though, so I'm sure it won't matter in the end.

It is being reported that she was not hospitalized as it wasn't serious. I agree with you but that is what was said.

I agree with what you said about the songs. Thinking about it now, I think Jordin will rock that song. She has the vocals and I know she will do good with "Broken Wing" and that Idol song will mostly likely be her style. I am really pulling for her.

Blake did sound like Maroon 5 and that is probably why it was his first performance in months that I liked. Maybe it was my Maroon 5 fondness talking I guess. As for the Bon Jovi song, that song was full of energy but I hated how he changed it into a completely different song. It's a singing competition and there were moments where he hardly sang in that song. I like taking risks but that one was a clusterf**k in my opinion. No doubt Blake will look terrible on the last song.

Looking forward to tomarrow night.

"Fighter" is a rock-ish song, and the rock week wasn't exactly Jordin's best. As I said before, "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar was really the only good rock performance she had, IMO. That's why I'm worried. Combined with the fact that it's hard to sound as good as the original on any Mariah/Celine/Whitney/Christina song, and this could be a disaster waiting to happen. If she pulls it off, though, it could win her even more votes than if she played it safe, so I guess it could pay off if she really thinks she has the chops to do it.

The song "Fighter" also has the backup singers as a pretty strong accent to the lead, and unless the lead singer can really sing the words exactly on the same cues as the backup singers (which may be difficult since some lines are said very fast), it can end up sounding like sh!t and could make it hard to understand the lyrics. There are alot of lines to that song that you have to sing all in one breath, and then you have to continue on to the next line without pause, and you just have to have really good breath control in order to make it sound good.

I'm a pretty decent singer (really!) and I've always found this song to be rather difficult at belting out. I'm so worried that Jordin is going to suck! LoL Oh well... she'll get a recording contract, anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Exactly about Jordin and "Heartbreaker". Jordin sucked the big one on "Livin' On a Prayer". Bon Jovi week was not increbily weak IMHO. I think Jordin picking "Fighter" will be her downfall. Hopefully it will be!!! :D

Blake sung Maroon 5 good the last time and he'll do even better tonight. On Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name", Blake F U C K I N G ROCKED, being one of his best performances.

BLAKE LEWIS'S GONNA KICK SOME JORDIN ASS!

Jordin girl......bad move. This song is so Christina's.

They needed much more guitar and drums for this song. Jesus.....it would have been better if they got Dave Navarro to play.

She started off weak, but she recovered. 7/10

Blake got a 8/10 for me.

    • Definitely wouldn't trust Dinah right now haha.  But that's great to know Billy comes back soon!  I'm excited for that. If he's at the boardinghouse, then I guess he does get closer to Nola perhaps, and then he'll be around Peter/Bridget and J, who is currently in his orbit along with Michelle and Dahlia, and Marcus is at the boardinghouse, so maybe they go the teenage story route most of this time until Billy gets back.
    • Sounds like me, but I prefer to be referred to as Contessa. We all know I can go a long time not paying attention to certain things.  And, if I might add, hey there dude, you effed up pretty good this time and I think this was your last chance. So don't let the door hit you in your behind as you go BYE MOMMY!
    • That did cross my mind at first, but I'd be more inclined to believe it if this didn't involve Trump. I'm not at all sure he is capable of being that sneaky. Of course, there's always a possibility I guess that his advisors are doing it without telling him, but that seems awfully risky. Trump is such a loose cannon you can never predict what he's going to do or say.
    • Whoa. She should have fought like hell to get that. Was it the greatest show ever? No, but it had a fantastic cast and was practically guaranteed to last multiple seasons because of its star power. Could have certainly led to bigger and better things. If it had flopped she could have always gone back to soaps. Judith Light broke through on a sitcom where she was basically second banana to Tony Danza. That grew into a very busy and distinguished career. The woman is still regularly booked to this day.
    • I could understand her being frustrated by the fact that she'd been in the business 10+ years at that point, and probably couldn't even get in the door. But then again, she'd already gone out for pilot season once (that we know of) and she and  her agent knew a 35-ish woman had a very difficult time in Hollywood. I know she did a few guest spots, but other than Designing Women, nothing I saw--not even a Murder She Wrote, and that show had tons of ex-soapers on it. I mean, God bless Marilu Henner, but even having been on Taxi, she couldn't get arrested for years either.
    • I didn't rewatch that period, so I'm not really sure how much Bill is on. I recall something about him living at the boardinghouse. I think Van made Matt his guardian, and why she didn't name Josh would be a mystery to me, other than the HW decided they needed to keep Bill in Matt's sphere. Nola is also his aunt, although they don't know each other well, and Van wouldn't have trusted her anyway. There's Dinah---but she's unreliable. Billy gets out of jail around NYE.

    • That's on Kimmer. As someone posted above...she was offered roles in pilots but she would be part of an ensemble or supporting. She didn't want that so she came back to GL. I don't know what she thought would happen..someone offering her "Here's Kimmer!" or The "Zimmer Comedy Powerhouse Hour" variety show..but her housefrau fans did not have the same pull in HW as they did on the soaps. Forbes and Watros knew that you had to take small parts to get noticed ands start a career in primetime. I know she was in consideration for the wife in Evening Shade, but when you go up against Marilou Henner, the soap diva looses. I could see her frustrated in a role like that, where she has to be the understanding wife with a bit of sass, but she could have made it work, if it wasnt for her huge ego.  I think it would have been an issue haveing all the powerhouse comedy actors surrounding...(lets face it..Alice Ghostly woudl have wiped the floor with her...) but it would have been a good launching padd.
    • Oh good, so I don't have to wait too long haha. I'm glad she cares about seeing Bill graduate. I'm guessing I'm in for a bumpy ride between Bill and Matt, if he's going to be his caretaker? Who else could it be, maybe Josh?
