Members Soapsuds
The judges were right. It was bad! Didnt like Jordin at all tonight. Blake was awesome tonight! I hope he makes it to next week. Remember there are two leaving tomorrow.
Members KLN
Surprisingly, I didn't really like Jordin tonight. I still love her, though... that just wasn't her song. The chorus was great, but the rest wasn't all that, IMO. I hope she's still safe, damn it! Phil... meh. Good song choice for him, but I still don't like him. He looks scary, LoL. LaKisha... good week for her. Good song choice. But like Phil, I just don't like her. I've heard the "black girl with a big voice" 25,987 times. BLAKE? What the HELL? The 'normal' chorus was fabulous, but the beat boxing? No way! It didn't go with the song, whatsoever. I mean, the beat boxing itself was decent... but in context with the song? No way in hell! It also came off as really, really cocky. He's ugly, too. Blech.
Members alwaysAMC
Chris was really good too! Probably his best performance all season IMO! Damn, this will be hard to knock off 2 people after these great performances tonight.
Members Soapsuds
Yup, Chris was good tonight too. I want Phil and Lakisha gone. Although Lakisha did a good job tonight.
Members alwaysAMC
Melinda was great too. Overall, my favorite night of AI. Everyone was good. I loved Ryan's unkept hair look tonight. He looked really hot tonight IMO. Finally - I am happy that Bush and Laura thanked the American audience and AI for their contributions! Great touch - although it's a little funny hearing him thank Bono and the other celebrities that participated - considering every one of them (pretty much) hate the man and are calling for his impeachment. Whatever - I'm happy our president did that!
Members Josh
Um...I don't know how I feel about the Leader of the Free World on a reality show...yeah! All I know is that Rosie will most likely have a field day with this tomorrow...what's next: Condi Rice on "Dancing with the Stars?" Oye!!! Members KLN
...continued from earlier. Chris was decent, but he reminds me far too much of Justin Timberlake. Since we already have one, we don't need another. He's cute as a button, though! Melinda... honestly? I didn't like it all that well. When she sang, it sounded very throaty and somewhat nasal. She sounded out breath a bit, hence not holding the notes quite as long as she should've in some places. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I'm scared for Jordin! Members Days4Life
Didn't like Blake's performance at all. I hate the beat boxing, I hated the hair, and I hate his mouth. He always comes off cocky and overconfident IMO. However, I think I'm in the minority so he will probably be safe. Lakisha did a good job, but I have a feeling she's going home. Looked very nice tonight; she's lost quite a few pounds. I loved Chris, but again I seem to be in the minority so he'll probably go home, too. Jordin didn't give her best performance but based on her many great performances in the past, she should be safe. Melinda was once again sheer perfection...she can sing anything! Members Actor87
Missed it tonight. I hope Phil goes home. After that though, I'm gonna have a hard time letting go. These last 5 are all my faves!

Members David_Vickers
MY TOP 3 (1) Blake Lewis---- Absolutely loved his version of "You Give Love a Bad Name" (and I'm a fan of Bon Jovi). He should one day release this as a single. The beat-boxing fit in it surprisingly IMHO. Again loved, loved, loved it. Love Blake. Shocked by the dark hair. But I bet he'll be blonde again next week. Looks good with both hair colors imho. (2) Lakisha Jones ------She could also have a hit single with her Bon Jovi pick, "This Ain't a Love Song" Back to her best! & TIED Melinda Doolittle -----awesome, when she rocks it out, she does remind me a lot of a young Tina Turner. Surprisingly good with "Have A Nice Day". Bottom 3 (4) Phil Stacey ---- did NOT rock, but did good in a country style. One of his best performances (even though I don't care for him lol). (5) Chris Richardson ----- I LMFAO when Ryan called him "Justin Timberlake" (and Chris didn't like it?, well you copy him all the time Chris, so haha). Chris keeps copying Justin and even though I like him, I'm kinda sick of him. He did do good this week and did NOT remind me of Justin as much. But rock isn't his music. (6) Jordin Sparks-----I love Bon Jovi and hate what she did to "Livin' On a Prayer" one of Bon Jovi's best songs ever. She absolutely screeched thru a lot of the song, as Simon said. Absolutley her worst performance ever. I'd send (and hope) Phil & Jordin go. I think Jordin is very, very, very, very over-rated. But I would trade either of them for Chris, because like I said, I'm getting tired of him as well. Also it made me sick to see the lying, crooked, worst President in US history and his Stepford wife show up at the end of IDOL. If I were the producers, I would've said NO ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN HELL to them wanting to pimp themselves on the show. They just did that to help W's image. At least, I was a few minutes behind, watching in TIVO, so I could fast forward them. LMFAO.
Members DaysFanJean
I agree about the Pres and Stepford wife. If they wanted to thank Simon and AI, then he should do it in an address to the nation when he points out special attention. Wrong for a reality TV show imho....it sort of ruined my dinner ugh. The show tonight was fantastic. I'm not a fan, in fact probably never knew I was listening to Bon Jovi ever, but after hearing the songs tonight, I've heard them and like them. Jordin to me was pitiful and I felt so sorry for her. She definitely should have chosen another song. Everyone else probably delivered a personal best. I was grinning ear to ear for each one and clapping away like a giddy school girl. My favorite of all was Blake. To me, he was beyond original, he was great at voice, delivery, personality and originality. Not sure about his dark hair, but not bad. Melinda was next for me as I loved her energetic soul delivery and performance. LaKisha really redeemed herself big time. She has a lot to do to make up for three weeks in a row of faltering performances, though. Phil and Chris did as well as they ever have and I enjoyed them, too. Most likely Chris will not survive. It will be between who has the most fans, Phil or LaKisha as according to what I see on Dial Idol, Jordin's fans are voting like crazy to save her. Amazingly, Melinda is still below Phil in number of missed calls. After four hours, though, who can tell what will change and we still won't know until Ryan says "you're going home" tomorrow night. Members Josh
I press release from the White House or something would have been fine if they wanted to do this or even if the First Lady made a special video appearance. But the times we are in is rocky to say the least and to have the President on a reality show was just so classless and in my opinion and in my eyes diminishes the respect of the office to which he holds! And you know, sorry to make this all political but we worry that if Hillary is to win the office that other countries would respect her less because she's a woman, um, what do you think they are saying tonight about President Bush being on American Idol. And has he not seen American Dreamz which is a rip-off AI and makes a joke about of the White House! Oye!
