Members PhoenixRising05 Posted January 16, 2007 Members Share Posted January 16, 2007 AWESOME EPISODE TODAY AND WELCOME BACK JKJ!!! The courtroom scenes were so good. At first, I was worried about JKJ because he was speaking like a senator or something but, by the end of the show, I loved him in the current version of Philip. He will do great and I smiled when I saw that smirk on his face while holding Claire. The dimples and just seeing that smile-this is Philip to me. Loved Victor and Kate being there by his side and walking out with him. Martha and Brandon rocked. I love how Shawn is acting just like his father would and how I hate to think what Jason Cook would've done in these scenes. Martha and Brandon played the scenes just right. Amazing. I love when Max and Mimi confronted Kate about the kidnapping and I also like how she had that little argument with Roman. I wonder where we will see Kate end up now with her business up in the air and all. I loved seeing her with Philip and Victor though. That brought back memories. Marlena, Bo, and Hope weere good against Beverly. God, do I hate her!! . What a smug [!@#$%^&*]. I love when Marlena and Bo told her off and Bo took the baby. When that guard did nothing to Bo, I loved seeing Beverly get pissed off and walk off . Marlena supporting Belle, Mimi comforting Belle, Bo comforting Hope-everything was just right. Sami and Lucas was nice. Good to have them back on and I loved the wheelchair stuff. I couldn't agree more about Will. Chris Gerse seems nice but he is horrible. Darian Weiss rocked the role and seeing that picture of him in this thread, he is born to play Will IMo. He grew up well and he looks like he could be Ali and Bryan's kid. Memo to Days: Get Weiss back STAT!! Loved how it seems they are setting Sami up for a fall. I think this time she will go through hell so I hope Lucas and others stand by her. I hope someone at least stands by her. Loved Kate taking jabs at Sami too and getting called on it by Lucas. Good seeing Stephanie. I am going to miss Shayna. I love what they are doing with her now. If only they did it sooner. Melvin rocked today. She is like mini-Kate. Loved her and Stephanie going at it and I also loved Chelsea, Abby, and Nick going at it. I know what some mean by the incest vibe. Seeing Abby and Nick together all the time is getting real old. They have great chemistry and when you have them together all the time it becomes an issue. I wish they would put them in scenes with others from time to time to even it out. Good scenes otherwise though. Tomarrow looks good. Can't wait to see Philip tell Mimi off. They should have kept Darian. He was perfect as Will, and he looks like Sami's son, and Marlena's grandson. Martha Madison continues to shine. If she does not get an Emmy nom this year, she better get one next year. It's also amazing that Brandon Beemer, in his short time as Shawn, has made the role his own. JKJ as bad Philip should be interesting to see. I think Kyle could have really done a good job playing a bada$$, he had the right face for it, if you know what I mean. I hate what Victor and Phillip have done and some times don't believe it is possible but it is making for good drama and finally has me rooting for Shelle. Roman and Kate were awesome. The teen scene not so much. What is up with all these Nick/Abby flashbacks... Why the flashbacks at all. And Nick has been on way too much. Members Days4Life Posted January 16, 2007 Members Share Posted January 16, 2007 The Abby/Nick/Chelsea storyline is the weakest one on right now. There's really been no movement for the entire month. Abby keeps telling Nick to tell the truth, he says he won't and Chelsea keeps being an obnoxious brat. We had a day or two where Nick grew some spine and stood up to Chelsea but that didn't last. I don't know why this story is getting so much air time when nothing is going on, but at least it's three good actors who are pleasant to watch. Hopefully, we'll get some movement soon. Members KevC1980 Posted January 16, 2007 Members Share Posted January 16, 2007 AMAZING episode... i seriously loved every minute of it...First off JKJ stepped back seamlessly into the role...I love that Phillip is finally Victor's son, after years of being a pushover obsessing over chloe then belle...also kudos to Martha and Brandon, who gave an excellent performance today... I also loved the stephanie, abby, chelsea, and nick scenes...Stephanie telling off Chelsea was great, and i loved Chelsea's comment about Steph not having any friends...Also nick is such a hottie... Also max and mimi were great, Hogan has really done wonders for these two... Its just incredible how much better Days is under Hogan..he really is a miracle worker.. You know what hes doing is soo wrong, but I can't help but rooting for him. I did feel bad for Belle, but not jack*ss Shawn....never learns. He just attacks everyone. He's Bo's son x100. Sami was so pathetic asking for the ceremony to be held at the Brady Pub....come on..shes still selfish (knowing she wasnt the only one to pull that beam). Martha Madison and Brandon Beemer rock my frickin socks off, haha. When Shawn flipped in the courtroom after the verdict...you could see every emotion in his eyes. That is acting. Great acting. And Belle running out to Phillip and wanting to hold Claire...she's outstanding. I liked Marlena telling Belle she will fight for her and stand by her. I find myself fast-forwarding through Abby/Nick/Chelsea scenes alot recently. I'm getting bored with that. Sami and Lucas were a little too over the top for me today. Yeah, couples and families should have fun with each other, but today was just a bit too much, IMO. I do feel bad for Sami though...she's gonna have some rough months ahead I believe. Beemer actually looked as if he had some emotion about the whole ordeal. And once Philip came out saying he wasn't leaving without his daughter, they *FINALLY* played some great music. The cue seemed like something out of a Melrose Place cliffhanger. And, let's face it, that can only mean good things. It was a a porno-y guitar "sing" to fadeout. Good stuff. Loved when Philip stood up, and removed those bandages....Just the look on Belle's face...heck mine, to see JKJ staring back at her...
