You are so right. In the months preceeding Kimberlin's arrival at B&B, B&B was always coming in at number 4 or 5 in the neilsen ratings. Once Sheila entered the picture, the show shot up to a consistent number 2 or 3 from which its never wavered. You're also correct in pointing out that Sheila propelled every story to the forefront. She kept Eric away from Stephanie, became a nanny and confidant for Brooke and Brooke's young son (Rick) and sent Macy off the sobriety wagon by putting vodka in Macy's orange juice. Truly, the golden age of The Bold And The Beautiful.

Thankyou! I knew I remembered something like that. Have a hazy memory of Sheila and Macy at the Bikini Bar (years before it got blown up by Sly Donovan). Those really were the days. That's what B&B has been missing...a truly viable trouble maker to stir the plots up past Ridge/Brooke #896, Stephanie/Eric bust-up #742 or Thorne/Ridge's cast off #21.

The problem was when Brad Bell was writing in the late 90s, Sheila was pretty much involved with the Warwicks and nobody else. She certainly never interacted with Macy, Taylor, Ridge or even Eric and Brooke.

This is pity party # 21156463213156 because KB isn't playing Sheila. Did you all not see what CRAP that was on display the last time KB's Sheila graced Y&R? That was DREADFUL and yeah, it was bad writing, but it was also BAD acting. I don't care what no one says, Roscoe Born was the saving grace in that s/l if it had a saving grace.

I know the "Sheila/KB Troops" are gonna club me over the head for this, but why you all get mad when someone dares to voice their dislike for Sheila and that Kimberlin really isn't the SH!T like some say she is?
