This was my first Days in months (I havent watched since Hope and Patrick were on the island alone together) and it bored me to death. Nothing really intrigued me and WTF with Billie hooking up with some teenager thats interested in her daughter.

That restaurant that Maggie is running, is that the old Tuscanny? If so how did she get it back from Bonnie's rodeo?

Why did Willow burn down Shawn's apartment?

Why is Abe still with Lexie? How many times must this ho cheat on him for him to get a clue? I was rolling my eyes when he said she was the best thing to ever happen to him.

What's the deal with EJ? Sami and Lucas dont hate each other anymore?

How involved did Billie and Steve get?

Maggie's restaurant is not the old Tuscany. Chez Rouge is an entirely new set, although many feel that the set resembles the DiMera mansion. As for Bonnie's Alice's, we haven't seen that set in months and I doubt we'll be seeing it ever again.

It's just a pissed off female's scorn. Willow gave her heart to Shawn and he just used her as a crutch to move on from Belle. When he realized that he still loved the b*tch, he dumped Willow like yesterday's news. Willow got him back big time! :)

EJ Wells is Elvis Banks, Susan Banks' son with Stefano DiMera. Not much has been explained about EJ's past besides his paternity. That's for 2007! No, Sami and Lucas don't hate each other anymore. I know, so stupid, but for the 43964096th time, Lucas has "forgiven" Sami and she went right back into his arms. SNOOZE!

When Steve returned, he didn't remember anything, including Kayla. He was cold towards her and found interest in Billie. The two got closer over the year, but then once Steve remember his love for Kayla, he dumped Billie. BASTARD!

EJ is really Elvis? Oh boy Days SORASing f-s up again! Wasnt the kid born in like 1996, yet he's older than Will and about the same age as Sami? This is reminding me of the messed up SORASing that occurred during the teen invasion.

So did Steve and Billie ever have sex or fall in love?

LMAO! Yes, Elvis was born in 1997. And even though it is DAYS' worst SORAS since Philip, it isn't that bad. James Scott is so good and EJ is so dangerous that it works, and you completely forget that EJ should be 9, lol.

No. Sadly, Steve and Billie never had sex :( Billie fell in love with Steve, and "Nick" (Steve's amnesiac self) fell for Billie, but once Steve's memory returned, those feelings no longer existed. Horrible, I know.

Ok another confusing moment for me today! I usually got DaysAhead and I thought that was going to change .... but with everyone discussing "todays" episode .. Im feeling like I still get DaysAhead. I had no Abe/Lexie Scenes or Kayla/Steve scenes today. I did have Willow with Chelsea and Maggie, Tek/Lexie, Billie/Nick, Abe/Mimi/Max and Sami/Lucas/Kate scenes :S

I really liked the show today and yes Julie Pinson was awesome. I could really feel Billie's pain and her hitting the bottle made sense. I would love a revisit of Billie's addiction as addicts do frequently relapse. To me that is more of a socially relevant storyline that some other stuff that is currently airing on other soaps. Delving into her molestation and porno past would also be interesting. She is a character with a great history to mine. Her and Nick are kind of  but I found the scenes tastefully done at least.

Not much really happened but the writing was so good I barely noticed. Characters having genuine discussions and letting us into their mindset is refreshing especially coming from an ABCD viewer where I have to fanwick so much of what is going on because the characters actions are so 'out of character'. It's also a nice contast to have happy characters on ie. Steve and Kayla versus the unhappy ones ie. Billie and Sami instead of all angst all the time. I can't enjoy watching soaps when they are all doom and gloom cough *AMC*.

Nope, not alone. I really felt for Bilie today and she and Nick managed to make their scenes not at all sad or creepy but completely understandable. They're both vulnerable and lonely and attractive. I totally get how it happened. And yeah, it was actually kind of hot.

I think the relationship is doomed but man is it going to be fun (in a trainwreck kind of way) to watch it play out. And hopefully both Billie and Nick will come out the other end stronger and more sure of themselves.

Loved Steve/Kayla playing doctor and flirting today, it really harkened back to the old days for them. She was always patching him up and he was always a huge flirt when she was trying to doctor him. A little last bit of fun for them before all hell breaks loose, I suspect.

Sami's scene with Roman today broke my heart. {{{{{Sami}}}}}

Abe and Lexi didn't really interest me, sorry to say.

OK - Forgive the length of this reply. LOL But I am still wondering so much about this storyline . . .

The Steve and Billie thing was strangely written, IMO. My guess is that it was a remnant from the JER storylines. One day Steve races back from his previous home because he missed Kayla, wanted to be with her and work on getting his memory back. Then the next week there were about two scenes to show that Steve/Nick was feeling pressure to remember from Kayla. Then there was a scene where Steve/Nick and Kayla are kissing and he has this very intense reaction. He gets freaked out by his reaction and races out, and Billie finds him on the pier. He talks about wanting things casual and in the moment. Billie agrees that she likes that also and they kiss.

Over the next month and half or so, we see Steve and Billie on about two dates and sharing a few kisses. All of a sudden Billie seemed to be in love with Steve/Nick. He had feelings for her but, IMO, they seemed somewhat ambivalent at times. After certain occasions when he would have a memory of Kayla, he did not have feelings attached to that memory. Whereas when he would have occasional memories of other people, like his daughter Stephanie or Benjy Dimera, feelings were attached to them.

Stephen Nichols mentioned in one of his blogs at tvguide.com that it is suspicious that Steve does not have feelings attached to his initial memories of Kayla and that he seems obsessed with Billie. He throws out there that maybe it is something that the bad guys did to his head. Not sure whether it is part of storyline that we have yet to see or whether Stephen Nichols was just speculating. Anyway, once Steve got his full memory back, his feelings for Kayla came back in full also (some of the most amazing scenes and most phenomenal acting jobs by Stephen and Mary Beth if you haven't seen it yet - Day 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g4GlM0x7I0...ted&search= , Day 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeE0cZ7a3Yk) ).

When Kayla asks Steve where his relationship with Billie stands, Steve adamently states that it was like he and Nick were two different people. Nick was someone walking around half asleep and in limbo. Also, Steve speculates that both he and Billie were looking for a casual, in the moment thing so he doubts she will be very hurt. Yeah, he was pretty wrong on that count. Since then, it has been clear that Steve does not have an attraction to Billie.

So after going into that long explanation, lol, I am really curious why they even went into the Steve and Billie relationship. It was strangely paced and the seriousness of it seemed to come out of nowhere. I hope they address it a little more somehow. Although I am 100% confident that Steve is 100% happy and in love with Kayla, I have to believe that it will come up again at sometime. Too much emphasis was placed on the relationship to have it just drop like that ??

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
    • Andrew sure has hard nips.
    • I was watching some August 1987 episodes and they brought back so many memories. I had some thoughts: Lisa and Jamie were so dull. Lisa was such a nothing character. It boggles my mind that so much story was centered around her in such a short amount of time. Joanna Going is a talented actress, but the material was just not there.  It was so good to see Wallingford and Mitch again. I know there was talk about Felicia a while back, but these episodes reminded me how integral Felicia was for the show.  Sally Spencer was done so dirty. She is turning in superb performances in an icky storyline. I wish she had stuck around longer. She has chemistry with everyone. The McKinnons should have lasted longer. Spencer had some strong stuff with Stephen Schnetzer and Mary Alexander. AW waster such a talented actress by getting rid of her. Justice for Cheryl too. I also missed Ed Fry when he left. Sandra Ferguson was a star from the moment she came on. She was charismatic and just popped. She had immediate chemistry with RKK and blended in well with Wyndham and Watson. I'd forgotten about the teenage Matthew.  I have no memory of Peggy Lazarus. She must not have lasted long. Was the original plan for John that he was going to turn out to be the twins' real father?
    • If the new and improved copies that @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded can be manually moved into the "by month, by year" folders, that would be awesome. I personally don't think it's necessary to keep the older versions (which either have Dutch subtitles hard coded on them, or are lesser in picture quality). That's a lot of valuable drive space that could be cleared. Just my view but can appreciate others may feel differently. The structure had been by month by year previously, so I think it would be easier to conform to that, where so much prior work to get it to that format has already been done. Hopefully you can "drag and drop" so the new copies are in the right month/year? Re Clips, I never look at them now we pretty much have the episodes in full. Appreciate others may use, however. Thanks for all your hard work here @BoldRestless!
    • Oh yes defintely, Josh Griffith repeats and repeats the same storylines.
    • Isnt’t this storyline similar to the Cameron Kirsten situation though? Sharon thought she killed him. He ended up being alive and Sharon was being tormented with thinking she was seeing his face everywhere and that’s how we got that iconic scene with her and Nikki in the sewers.   I understand in Mariah’s case this is different circumstances but it does seem like a play on that whole thing. Maybe I’m wrong. I just wish if they were going to make any character follow in Sharon’s foot steps it would be Faith. Mariah wasn’t even raised by her, and her personality is different. I would expect her to take a different path. I understand I could be completely jumping ahead because the storyline hasn’t even played out yet but we’ll see.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven Monica was completely without redeeming qualities at this point. I always found the whole Monica = Carly narrative regressive, as I don't think shows comparing characters so heavily is ever a great idea, but she's actually worse than Carly was. Was it the Pollocks who had Leslie have a miscarriage?  Giving her a child, especially by rape, was not a good idea, but a part of me wishes they'd committed to it just to see what story it might have had in later years.
    • @janea4old Your detailed explanation and delving into the psychology and motivations is no doubt the opposite of what we will see onscreeen. As @ranger1rg stated we will get a few scenes and some sketchy explanations. Like the adoption of Aria, most of it will take place off screen.
    • I'm suddenly fearful that DAYS is going to pull a Flowers-for-Algernon stunt and Bo's progress will be reversed.  While @te. is stuck on Abe's tiny bedroom, I can't stop thinking of the size of Bo's huge hospital room.
    • Okay, why are Paulina and Abe sleeping like that?!  I'd take a screen grab if I wasn't lazy, but come on.
