Members sheilaforever
As I posted one or two pages before in this thread: Yes it is. They didn't even bother to redecorate it much. It's nearly the exact same set. The only thing missing I guess is that fake Antic Greek god-mouth figure. At least it didn't strike me although it always did... I really started missing Tonya Lee Williams as soon as Olivia's apartment showed up. Ahhh, those fond Nate memories. He was by far the coolest soap kid ever!!! Never saw much during the Damon-story but didn't he live in a totally different style home (nearly attic-like)? Still have to watch today's show but I'm only looking forward to Jill/Kay. Those few days without them have been absolutely horrendous. Brad got on my nerve, so did Nikki (patching Mr. Mumbles shoulder for his great sense for epionage intrigue with Ashley), Victor (Ugh! He's even more a pompous ass than usual), Colleen who starts changing her mind by the wind... But LMAO about Colleen packing her things after a final DOUBLE love-making session with BoreT. I guess the shower sex wasn't too great afterall... LOL! Shocked that Victoria nearly behaved liked Victoria yesterday. Hopefully she continues reading Brad the riot act. Still, the writing is on a highway to hell. So bland dialogues, so stupid scene hopping, characters behaving either boring or totally out of character... The only good story these days is probably one that the writers don't intend to be a blockbuster: Lauren's anxiety is the one and only thing that has sufficient built-up, well-chosen pacing (here Kay/Jill fall totally off unfortunately...), intensity, great acting: Tracey Bregman is brilliant and a must for next year's Emmys along with Jeanne Cooper. Forgot about the Stafford-hype (she's very disappointing at least for me), those two show the full dimensions of acting. How Lauren warmed up during Paul's visit but was frantically staying aback from her apartment's threshold while saying good-bye. Just one of many great scenes in this storyline. Unfortunately it is indeed the sole and only completely worked-out story on Y&R. Definitely not acceptable for a 40 minute show...
Members KLN
Why the hell is Amber so obsessed now with tarot and [!@#$%^&*]? I mean, I love Sylvia Browne too. But I'm not devoting my whole life to tarot.
Members winterguy125
I cannot wait until Monday's show it sounds so powerful, and I just know that I am going to love every minute of the Jill/Kay stuff, so far it has been great, so I expect it to also be great on Monday
Members SteveFrame
I just wanted to say that I believe this is the best full week of Y&R I have seen in a long time. Man the performances were great. Michelle Stafford rocked all week as Phelia Doug Davidson was good Christian LeBlanc was terrific Tracey Bregman was great as usual Eileen Davidson & Peter Bergman were on fire in their scenes. Jess Walton was great earlier in the week but today she was amazing And Jeanne Cooper - man she was great. Here is to the Best Actress Emmy in 2008 going to her if she keeps this up. Man wouldn't it be great for her at 80 by then to recieve the award and put all the younger ones in their place. I just think the show rocked all week, and was the only show that kept my attention the whole hour all week. All the others had some great moments but only Y&R was must see for me. My only complaint is that I wish Y&R would spice their sex scenes up some. This show used to have good ones, but lately even Nicholas & Phyllis's sex scenes are a little boring or too tame. I don't want porn but give us a little more.
Members DruRocks
IA Steve Y&R is REALLY holding back on there sex scenes, compared to the past.
Members SteveFrame
I have started a new poll to fill in for the missing TOP 10 (only as long as it is down). Once it comes back this will stop. The procedure of picking the ballot will change some next week. I got the idea for this too late to get it started this week. Check it out at: http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/index.p...c=14446&hl= My introduction paragragh explains things. Hope everyone will participate. Members DruRocks
I like Amber but she is really dragging the Kay/Jill story down. I don't want to see Amber being linked to Y&R royalty like that. I'd much prefer to have Ash Bash back in the role of Mackenzie, taking over Amber's involvement in this story. ETA: Cadrian is becoming a hit it sees. I was on YouTube and there was a lot of videos dedicated to them.
Members Rhiannon
That would be nice if they hired Ash Bash back, but I'm sure the character of Mackenzie isn't "quirky" enough for LML; so we're stuck with Amber........
