June 22, 200718 yr Member Mary Ryan has been an associate director for OLTL for years. Yesterday I heard that Marla Kanelos took a leave from AMC, she just adopted a baby. So the show is only working with four script writers for the time being meaning Courtney won't be going anywhere, at least until she's back.
June 22, 200718 yr Author Administrator Is that the same Mary Ryan who is a writer? I've been wondering that for a couple of years now. There's (1) Mary Ryan who wrote for GH in the 90's (2) Mary Ryan Munisteri and (3) Mary Ryan the associate director at OLTL. I'm going to guess that 1 and 3 are the same person.
June 22, 200718 yr Member I know that Mary Ryan Munisteri the writer got a divorce or changed her name and became Mary Ryan on some of her later writing stints. I don't anything about this director. June 27, 200718 yr Member Apart from being with the show for a long time, what else is known about this guy? Toups, how many days have to pass (of not being listed in the credits) before you pronounce the writer fired?
June 27, 200718 yr Author Administrator Toups, how many days have to pass (of not being listed in the credits) before you pronounce the writer fired? If the credits list the writers everyday, I will post about it right away. If the credits don't list the writers everyday, I will usually wait about 2 months before posting about it.

June 28, 200718 yr Member GL: - Brett Staneart last listed as Script Writer on June 26 Wasn't Staneart a writer's assistant before he became a script writer? I remember in the Conboy days when they used to list the script writer his scripts were usually good. He would be a good pick up for a soap that needs help.
