Thought I would start today's discussion of the show.

Haven't watched yet but based on prevuze/EE, here's some of the basics of the show:

1) dramatic moments at the end with Steve regaining his memory.

2) funny scenes with Bonnie propositioning EJ.

3) Patrick wanted Hope to go away with him around Christmas I think.

4) Billie found out about Chelsea's online crush.....

P.S. After reading Monday's show, I think Hogie is going to submit that episode for Emmy consideration. But that's probably a discussion best left for the Monday thread.....

Have a great weekend everyone.....

It was nice that he remembered everything, but I really didn't like the way they did the flashbacks - even though it was very DAYS-ish...I wish they would have made them clearer.

I love how they did the flashbacks - it showcased how overwhelming it was for him. Haven't seen it done like that before, so I thought it was kind of awesome.

Loving Nick. He's such a dork.

MY. GOD. Now THAT was daytime drama at its finest. Today's episode had humor, mystery/danger/intrigue, history, and love. All in just the right amount! I think this was the best episode Ive seen since Hogan and crew came on board. I really enjoyed the Belle and Shawn scenes..those two are so hot together, I can't wait for them to eventually reunite. Chelsea, Nick, Abby and Steph crack me up. It's funny how the younger crowd of the late 90s was so much more annoying than this new younger set. Probably because of the amount of time we see them, but anyway I loved em today. Bonne and EJ were hilarious! When Bonnie licked her hand and wiped it on EJ's mouth I lost it. And STEVE AND KAYLA. My God, I had chills during these scenes. I actually had tears in my eyes during that whole last scene, and I can't remember that last time that happened watching DAYS. Great, great episode. I can't wait for Monday's show!

I guess that is true - it was kinda realistic in the sense that he was overwhelmed...and I was overwhelmed trying to watch the flashbacks...haha - But no I understand, it makes more sense thinking in it that way.

That's how they did it in 1999 when Hope was turned into Princess Gina. She was laying passed out in the snow, and we saw all these rapid-fast flashbacks, just like the ones Steve had today. It was overwhelming and awesome. Then suddenly, Hope shot her eyes open and we didn't know who she was... Hope, or Gina?

Oh, yes! I remember that now. Guess this was just better somehow? :P

Loved this show! I don't even know where to start...but I guess it would have to be with Steve and Kayla. They had quite a ride today--Kayla's heartbreak and then Steve being overwhelmed by his memories and calling her "Sweetness" over and over again. Can't wait for Monday. And the scenes with the young crowd were great, they seem like such real life kids. I used to go to school with a dorky boy like Nick! Although he seems so young, it's hard for me to reconcile him with this important job at the hospital; I feel like he should be in high school. Bonnie and EJ were so funny and ICK when she licked her hand and wiped it across his mouth! Wonder if that was a wink to the Kelly Ripa/Clay Aiken feud? Admired EJ's restraint with her but when he confronted Patrick we saw that cold calculating evil and it gives me shivers. Patrick should be shaking in his boots--or running for his life. And thank God I actually saw some disgust in Hope's face when she looked at Patrick today! I think/pray/hope/believe this storyline is about to end!

For the first time since June, today was the first time that I honestly enjoyed Steve and Kayla. I didn't read the EE previews so I was very surprised by the ending even though I knew he would be getting his memory back today. I loved the way his memories came back. Great job with their usage of SFX, surprisingly.

I really loved how the flashbacks were for Steve today. THey just started coming back so fast he was so confused. I actually think I may be starting to like Kayla. The previews for Monday look great for them.

I loved the scenes between Judi and James. Bonnie and EJ are just totally opposite and to see BonBon make such a fool of herself and putting herself as well as her son in danger, well that's just what she does.

I also loved Beemer and Madison today. I am hoping this is the turning point for Belle and Shawn, but do not move it to fast. I hope they do not just get thrown right back together. The two need to grow individually then together.

Enjoyed the show.

I liked the way they did the flashbacks. It was very realistic...exactly how I would imagine a flood of memories to be like.

Nichols is just amazing.

He really is. I have so much to say about his performance and Friday's episode but it's so wrapped up now in Monday's episode that I don't t think I can discuss them separately.

Well, of course, I cried. It was overwhelming for Steve and he had me totally in his frame of reference and when he got lost in the past, I was frightened for him and it was just a fabulous scene with the culmination of telling Kayla he remembered. Whew. Simply great.

I hated Bonnie and EJ of course. There is nothing funny about a degrading scene in my opinion. It was gross beyond gross. Bonnie gets lower everytime she is on. EJ will kill her if she messes with him again....I hope she does. Let Judi come back as a self-respecting, decent person as Adrienne again and have really wonderful and praiseworthy scenes.

Belle looked like she was interviewing Shawn as an employee. No chemistry at all. Beemer did fairly well because he is simply steamy anyway, but there was much more chemistry between Willow and Shawn. Belle didn't turn on at all, which really pleased me anyway. She has a lot to go through before going beyond touching base with Shawn.

I'm not done griping yet either. Why would the brilliant scholarly doctor send Chelsea a picture of his boss instead of stealing one of an actor off the internet? That was not bright at all. He looks way too old for Chelsea and not even interesting looking to me. One thing that maybe could come out of this is that Billie and he might hit it off.

The best of the day for me .... definitely Steve and second best, the younger set....loving them.

Bonnie and EJ made me laugh. She's such a strange little woman.

The Steve and Kayla scenes had all kinds of WOW written over them. Really good scenes.

And I love Love LOVE Nick Fallon. He's become my favorite male character.

OMG STEVE AND KAYLA!!!

Those scenes were AMAZING!!

MBE and SN owned today. My Kayla is back too. I am loving MBE again. Finally we can get a move on with this stuff. I loved how they referred to the history with Victor and then flashbacks were well-done. They set the right overwhelming mood. They reminded me alot of the Princess Gina/Hope memory bonanza that we got in 1999. I loved that style then and I loved the use of it here.

The teen set was good. Stephanie is much better being mixed with Abby and co. Nick is great. Love him. Chelsea and Billie's scenes were hilarious. Billie's reactions were great and now Chelsea is going to be running around after a doctor.

Belle/Hope was good but I really loved the end stuff with Shawn/Belle/Willow. Looks like we are finally going somewhere her as Shawn is finally being honest and things may be looking bad for Shallow.

I was surprised Bo went after Claire's kidnapper. Wasn't expecting that or EJ giving him the info. Loved how Hope treated Patrick and how she is siding with Bo.

Bonnie/EJ was hilarious but that little thing she did at the end when she licked her hand and put it on his mouth was eww... I loved how she came on to him and EJ threatened her and Patrick. They are using Bonnie in a more tolerable and entertaining way now.

Great show. Monday looks AMAZING!!
