Do you have a source or a transcript for this info? Just wondering because it was rumored that Christy was taking over the role of Gwen on Passions when Liza Huber went on maternity leave but that was shown not to be true when Liza said on her MB that Gwen wasn't being recast.

That's true but GH killed off Courtney at ALW's request because she didn't want the role to be recast. And as a FOJ, JFP was more than happy to grant ALW"s request and it was no hardship for Guza either because he loathed the character of Courtney. He only wrote for her because she was a FOJ and Fron's pet.

Um - Courtney's dead...and she died in the hospital bed with people around her....it's not like she died but the body was never found.

Christie is a horrible actress imo, she always looks as if she's reading her lines off a cue-card. Though Courtney was a waste of a character, at least ALW could act somewhat.

Courtney was ruined and she was whiny! CC deserves better than that. Either create a new role for her or better yet, Sarah Webber. Sarah Webber is tied to Audrey at least nad not Sonny
