I am loving this, Bo & Marlena had a wonderful friendship back in the day and now it is back as of today. I love their scenes together, Peter Reckell and Deidre Hall did a great job. I remember back when Bo was getting married to Gina, while Hope and Stefano was locked up in the castle, Bo didn't care for Marlena much back then, can someone please tell me what lead to their falling out, I can't remember the whole story behind it.

I wasn't watching back then so seeing Bo and Marlena today was a surprise to me. She looks so tiny beside him. I couldn't help but think how my husband would get furious if I wanted to try to interfere with his business and learned to make peace with his decisions and Marlena being a psychiatrist surely knows better than to try to interfere with her husband's business and using his friends to work against him. That really irritated me and especially calling the "you owe me" card. Would Marlena do that? I don't think so. It negated the good deed that she did, in my judgement.

I'm loving Hope again and her being a thinking woman again. As difficult as it is seeing her sister-in-law's husband in his situation, she is trying to understand him and help him. The hospital scenes with Steve, Kayla and Hope were interesting. Stephanie is getting on my nerves now.

It seems like a lot is about to happen now and we are ready to be swept away with it all. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat and ready.

I love their friendship, so I'm ecstatic about their scenes. They were very sweet, sincere and the actors have fantastic chemistry, they always have. Marlena's desperation to save John is awesome. I love that she doesn't just back down because John says he can handle it. She knows her man and she knows that he's stubborn.

Loved the "who's more stubborn" comments because hello - history nudge! Bo and Marlena met during a time they were both incredible stubborn. And they're both back to that now so heck yeah!

Marlena standing up for herself and not making excuses for trying to save her husband - awesome. She's trying to save him from himself. Their close friendship (Bo and Marlena were incredibly close in the 80s and early 90s, Langan destroyed that friendship), it made sense that in desperation, he's the one it makes sense to ask.

Finally, a Brady mentions that she saved his sister's life. At the hospital, it was all "Steve, you saved her/me."

Dr Neil, those nasty words were uttered in 1999/2000. Bo had asked Marlena to take Hope (who wasen't Hope, but actually Gina) on as a patient, which Marlena did because they were all worried about her behaviour. Gina loathed Marlena and decided to torment her by faking hypnosis and "suggesting" that maybe John wasen't drifting at sea during the honeymoon. Marlena didn't give up even though she was uncomfortable around Gina. Marlena began to see how it truly was and that Hope wasen't Hope with personality issues, she was Gina (although she belived that Hope was fully Gina personality wise, in Hope's body). As Bo became closer to "Hope", Marlena asked him to take time to move slowly and when Bo proposed, Marlena begged Bo to not go through with the wedding. "Hope" knew Marlena was onto her and played it up to Bo, saying Marlena was treating her cruelly causing Bo to get on her case, while Marlena grew more and more frustrated about the situation. But she was determind until the last minute to stop the wedding. She didn't manage to stop it. After the ceremony, Gina took Shawn up on the terrace and shot him, causing him to fall off the ledge. As Marlena found them (just as Shawn fell off), she confronted Gina as an effort to save Shawn. John and Roman found her at gun point and as Bo grabbed Hope, John pushed Marlena out of the way, but Marlena was shot (bullet grazed her forehead, she was knocked out), so was "Hope".

Hope was taken to the hospital, went into surgery, Bo was pissed because Marlena haden't told him how far gone "Hope" was (which wasen't the case, she did everything but actually spell it out - which she couldn't because of doctor/patient confidentiality). "Hope" survived the surgery, she died a few days later because of lung cancer I belive (should've been Bo's first clue since Hope never smoked, Gina did all her life).

Bo was horrible to Marlena during this time, so much so that Marlena decided to quit her practice feeling that if Bo was right, she'd killed a woman.

Reckell and Hall have always had an outstanding chemistry between them. I'd love it if DAYS ever did a crazy FAN-tasy episode like OLTL used to do and mixed up all of its super couples for a day. Reckell and Hall would be hot.

I have ALWAYS loved scenes between Marlena and Bo. Peter Reckell and Deidre Hall have always had such good friendship like chemistry between them and besides both characters have been through ALOT together over the years.

I hope this is a friendship that DAYS continues to rebuild...LOVE them together!

I agree I love them together in scenes. I didn't see the whole show yet but I did catch some of their scenes and they looked real good. I actually loved that plot point during the Gina story when Bo and Marlena were at odds. That was pretty good drama IMO.

That would rock King. Hogan did do special episodes on ATWT I beleive. I would love for him to do something like that just for fun one day.

I'd agree, if it wasen't so damn out of character, and it ruined a part of their relationship. Marlena was someone Bo trusted more than anything. He actually got along with her.

Well it did ruin a part of their relationship, but the drama it created was definetly entertaining.

The conclusion to the Princess Gina Storyline was VERY good IMO and the Marlena/Bo conflict had a lot to do with it for me!

It was definetly hard to watch their friendship come apart, but I mean that happens in real-life and I am glad that Hogan is giving them their friendship back!

I especially loved the scene when Marlena noticed Bo's bags were back at the house, you could tell she was just SO happy for him that he was back home!! Loved that little exchange!

And the way she did that was so cute! She almost walked into them and then "Uh, what's that?" And then the hug. What I love about B/M is that PR and DH have the natural friendship thing down, so the looks and reactions seem to come natural.

This is one of my fav episodes since Days was taken over.

I thought the little girl who plays Claire was so adorable today! `And, Martha does a fantastic job with her.

Watching Claire go see Phillip with all those bandages he has is just spooky though. I really liked how that didn't freak Claire out though, and instead she felt the connection to him. I am now more convinced than ever that in the end, Phillip will end up being her father. Shawn use to feel really close to Claire in the beginning, when the true paternity was unknown, and now we don't see that.

The best part though was watching Abe, Roman, Bo and John talking at the station. I couldn't keep my eyes off John. I've never really seen what people thought was so extroadinary about the actor, until today. The hand motions, facial expressions, tone of voice ... he is amazing!

I'm confused Jinxed Soul. Were Belle, Victor and Claire on today? I don't remember that. They are supposed to be on Monday, though and were on yesterday or the day before. Today was all about Steve and Kayla, Hope and Bo, Hope and Steve and Marlena and Bo and the cop shop. If Victor was on today, I totally slept through it.

I believe that Claire is actually Philip's also.

Claire is not Philip's Jean. Not going to happen :)

Today's show was good but definitely the worst of the week. It was supposed to be a Thursday show which is why I hate preemptions but whatever it was still good.

I enjoyed Steve/Kayla and I like that Kayla has accepted the possibility that Steve may not be all her's. I also liked Stephanie better these past few days. Seeing her also want Bope together helps because we know she is not focused on her parents. She wants her whole family happy and is a romantic. It does get annoying but at least I can understand it. I wonder about the Billie aspect to this. It is clear Steve is remembering but the feelings for Kayla aren't returning while he can't get Billie out of his head. Interesting dynamic. I am also liking seeing Hope and Steve's friendship. I loved it back then and love it now.

The J&M scenes on the plane were good and that opening scene with Marlena's dream was creepy. Wonder if it's a hint of things to come? Also liked the cop shop with Abe and Roman ganging up on Tek. I loved John eating the fruit and telling Abe and Roman they can't stop him no matter what. Loved those scenes and great ending scene with the safety deposit box. Really sets things up for next week.

The Bo and Hope scenes were great. Now that is the real Hope and the magic of Bope was there today. I loved how Bo just was so happy and, after she left, he smiles and threw himself on the couch almost to say "It's great to be home."

Bo and Marlena were the highlight. Great chemistry and I too liked how Bo mentioned her role in saving Kayla. Glad her ankle didn;t miraculously heal. I also liked how desperate Marlena was and how she pulled out "The you owe me" card. I didn't expect that but I loved it. Very human and realisitic. I love how feisty and stubborn she is and how she mentioned Bo is too. Great throwback to the past and their friendship. I also loved how happy she was when she saw his suitcase and hugged him. Hall and Reckell work well together.

Not bad today but the rest of the week made it seem bad  . I hate having a Thursday show on a Friday but whatever. Monday looks very good though.

Marlena's not above playing a little dirty if it saves the people she loves, and if it was anyone else, it would have been wierd, but it works with Bo because of their history.

I love Bo/Marlena scenes too. When they're together I always think of the "You left him [Roman]??!! You just left him there?!!?" scene from 84(?). That's my favorite B/M scene.

That scene gives me chills every time.

"You should have brought him home! YOU SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIM HOME!"

Chills.

I watch that (I have the clip) every time I need a reminder of how awesome they are together.
