Guess that Davetta chick was the "rude, youngster" then?

Davetta might have very well been a rude, hateful snot behind the scenes. But Christel has no reason to say anything, IMO. She wasn't at the show when the supposed "clashes of interest" happened, so all she knows is hearsay. This just seems a bit tacky, IMO.

They got them from the replacement actress, the last person who should be making such claims. It's not exactly unimpeachable truth.

So I guess Khalil doesn't see the irony in the fact that she's being totally unprofessional by talking about Davetta. She's saying Davetta "wasn't very professional"?

She should have said nothing. It was not her place to comment on any other actor's behavior. She wasn't even there when/if it happened.

Way to sound like an idiot, Christel.

What gets me about all this is that if Victoria Rowell wasn't getting along with Christel, why hire her back in the first place? It makes no sense to have someone play your daughter when there's going to be tension on the set. I know they're supposed to be professional about that, but still, it can't be easy playing mom to an actress you don't like.

Christel Khalil is a [!@#$%^&*]-ing beyotch!

I REALLY hate this girl.

It would be one thing if she was defending herself from rabid Davetta fans by saying, "Hey, they gave me my job back. Don't blame me! I'm just doing my job."

It's ANOTHER thing to basically trash another actress(on your mySpace blog, no less), with HEARSAY!

Was she there when Davetta was fired? No. So, how the hell can she respond to Y&R fans by calling someone out on behavior she hasn't seen?

And Davetta has never had anything bad to say about Christel in the press or in her blog.

The lack of professionalism comes from Christel, the real wannabe diva.

TEAM DAVETTA!

King, these weren't answers. Christel just gave people another reason, on top of all the others, not to like her or want her in this role.

She should have been a lady and just ignored the negative backlash. But instead of putting out the flames, she fueled the fire.

Very true. You know I've never really liked Khalil in the role and have been turned off by her actions in the past. BUT now I can say I HATE her. I'm sure she's hoping that Davetta wil lose credibility, but now she's just given people who have never liked her a reason to really HATE her. Not cool at all!!

After this CK I can't stand. We talk to Davetta al lthe time & she would ask us question & we will tellher how we felt.

Victoria Rowell didn't make no excuse that she didn't like CK when she first came on as Lily. I never felt that mother connection with them even if they was having problems. Dru is to strong for the way CK plays Lily. Second She wasn't there so she going by what they want her to say Because Y&R didn't think they will have this hugh blacklash over the black character.

[!@#$%^&*] Y&R & CK.

PLEASE don't get into the race thing again!

As opinionated as I am about the issue, the LAST thing we need is another thread about *THAT.*

Besides, Khalil just gave herself the hangman's noose as far as I'm concerned. And offliners I've talked to STILL don't like her.

I want my answers from people who were THERE, thank you. Not some girl, with an extreme bias, who obviously still thinks life is a high school and gossips about things she knows nothing about. I mean, dear GAWD! The girl left her job because it was too hectic and it wasn't fun.

GROW THE HELL UP! Most of us in LIFE work jobs that are stressful and not in the least bit fun, and do it for a paycheck much less than she gets even on her most "hectic" and overwhelming day with absolutely ZERO fans to cheer us on and inflate our ego.

She's just tossing dirt on Davetta to fend off the attacks from angry fans.

It's not Davetta's fault that the fans don't like Khalil's ass, so why does Khalil have to put Davetta's details on blast? When Davetta was cast, she didn't go on her myspace blog and say, "Like, totally, yeah, fer shurrre, I replaced Christel Khalil because she was like totally causing mega drama on the set, like wow! I hope she, like, totally grows up, because like, I will totally be praying for her!"

Please. There was no need for that. CK should've kept her mouth shut and just say, "You know what? I wasn't there, so I don't know for sure. I just wish Davetta the best and will do my best to pay homage to the work she's done with the character this past year."

And LEFT IT ALONE.

Let me put it as neutral as possible. Khalil had all the right to defend herself from media/internet backlash. So far so good...

The hectic work schedule and some of the people on set made me crazy and I couldn't take it.

but still still seems to be her problem. Sherwood had enough class to say only nice things about Khalil and the show, yet Miss Khalil said a few words too many.

I'm sorry but this lacks class. Period.

BTW: The reason for Sehrwood's firing could already be assumed to be some divaish allures or backstage drama while reading between the lines in some of the recent official statements made by Y&R execs. Yet, they didn't denunciate Sherwood nor did she stab back at them. That's how it should work...

You know what King, I don't understand you're arguments. If Christel Khalil is fed up with the fans reaction to her return, then why go and attack Davetta like that? She has no right, and is being quite unprofessional (not that I expected much from her in the first place) to attack Davetta Sherwood who hasn't said boo about her. And, furthermore, unless her ass was there on the set to see first hand these "clashes of interests" and "rude" behavior, she needs to just SHUT THE F--- UP!

Christel Khalil is a straight-up BEYOTCH!!!! And I'm glad she made these comments public... if she had any chance of getting into the graces of fans that were upset about her re-hiring, she just f'd that up. WAY TO GO! Yeah, she's matured all right!

And, yes, I'm being just as much of a beyotch as she is. :P

LMAO "I'll pray for her" what a [!@#$%^&*].

That was so not cool! I hope she realizes that other soaps, folks in the entertainment industry will read her classless act of personal self gratification! That was really uncalled for. I NEVER like Christel Khalil's Lily, now she has come full circle. She doesn't sound like a very nice young lady either.
